I bought this to make snowcones for the children in my school. I was a little concerned about How fast it would work and how Much ice it would shave in a short time. Surprisingly, it was very efficient And we were able to make more than 30 snow cones in a short time. I would just recommend that be Mindful of a small circular disc that locks the blades in place. It’s really small, like the Size of a quarter and can get lost if you pull out the ice bowl. The item is very safe, Looks nice and makes very little noise. Simple to assemble. I was super skeptical about this, but used it at a B Day party for a 5 year old and it everyone wanted to know where I got it from. Worked perfect! The huge one I rented previously shaved more Ice at one time but still took forever, this one went pretty quick, you don’t have to stand there holding it down, put ice In and push it once. Made about 4 out of each push (2 minutes prob to shave each push when full of ice) That was also with the kids in line waiting. Only suggestion I would have is to make the bottom lip a little deeper, when ice melts the water can leak out of the door opening if you don’t watch it.
