We got this for a movie theatre themed birthday party. Pros: -It worked fast and had clear instructions about when to stop the popping -it looks really nice! -everything fits back into the box for the next time -it makes good, evenly cooked popcorn. There weren’t many uncooked kernels after popping -it’s quiet but still has the satisfying pop noise as it’s being made Cons -it takes some time to clean. I can see the oil build up being a problem over time, so I tried to clean it really well -if you’re making popcorn for a crowd, you will need to make multiple batches. It can’t store a whole lot in the bottom of the maker. Luckily, it is quick -our box was missing instructions, so I had to look them up online ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was one of the gifts I bought for my sister for her birthday. SHE LOVED IT!!! Demanded we plug it in immediately lol. The utensils came in handy, although it could have came with a place to sit them that could be folded up on the machine, but it does not which is why I gave it 4 stars. But we just use plates or napkins to sit them on. We used 2 scoops of both the oil and kernels and it makes a lot of popcorn. This is also a good idea for parties in general because endless popcorn means guest will have a snack that saves you money and it’s filling for the appetite. Also bought popcorn flavors. My favorite part is hearing the sizzle before it starts to pop. Had no problems out of the box and set up was easy. The price at $49.99 is also exceptional.
