I debated about purchasing this but i am so glad I finally did. Works great and is so much easier than a regular food saver type. Easy to use and bags are great sizes. Once the bags have been used, I found the best way to wash was to add water to bag with a little soap. Close and shake over sink. Once clean, rinse and dry. Bags can be stacked in freezer and takes up so much less room than plastic containers. Highly recommend. ... show more

This product works great and it’s so easy to use. It’s very convenient due to its small size but still powerful. The unit seems to be durable and easy to hold while using. It comes with a lot of bags that are strong and keep my food fresh. I won’t need to buy any for quite awhile.

For years I have used Food Saver vacuum sealer, bags, and containers. I have always had issues with the bags not sealing, the plastic piece coming off the bags, the containers get cracks in them and then they won't seal, and after a few years the vacuum sealer doesn't work right. I tried these bags and they are so much thicker and better than anything food saver has. They even give a plastic piece to make sure you get a great seal on the bags. I really love these bags. I also ordered the containers, they are glass so no more cracks in the containers. ... show more

I am a bit reluctant in reviewing this item because of previous reviews about item not working well. Thus far I've sealed a lot of veggies and it works great. It needs recharging often as it doesn't seem to hold a change well. I noticed that it's quite important to express as much air out of the bag before sealing it. It works faster and better this way.     • Learning curve for well sealed bags. Extends life for some produce better than others.

Update (leaving original review to show there is a learning curve) Most bags do keep their vacuum if sealed properly. I don't think I want to wash and reuse. Messy and not sure about truly sanitizing them for the next produce. Really extends life of cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts. Not very effective with eggplant and zucchini. Still learning. _--------------------- Idea is great, but so far at least 50% of the bags won't hold their seal. I've tried very hard to make sure the "zipper" is properly closed, including using the included tool. No improvement. I wonder if there are better quality, more reliable bag? ... show more

This is made sous vide and freezing so much easier. I have found that using the attachment for foods with liquids in them all the time makes the seal perform better. All in all, easy to use, easy to store and a bargain.
