I used this to due my 10yo’s hair Mermaid Green. The goal was to have the ends teal/green. Admittedly, I had dyed her hair twice with Garnier TL1 (with 2 weeks between each attempt), which did not take. However, with the Garnier, while it deposited color in her hair, it didn’t last. Her hair still looked and felt healthy. With THIS dye, while I was applying it, it was very warm to touch. I mean, almost hot. It wound up LIGHTENING her hair by about 2 shades. There was not even a hint of green. Now, a week later, her hair ends feel crunchy after washing and conditioning and they are breaking off when brushing. The bottom is the worst of it. I’m so upset for my daughter. I’ve used box dye for years. Although there are horror stories, I’ve never experienced any. She really just wanted to dye her ends green. Now I don’t think we’ll be able to until this grows out. 😔 ... show more

And my photo my hair is not green, but that is not the reason why I purchased this. I had bleached and highlighted my hair and it turned orange so I died with this and once it faded, the orange was gone. I love it.

I really like dying my hair, with this hair dye if you have darker hair well darker then blond i would recomend bleaching your hair first so the color pops, i didnt use bleach and even though you couldnt see it very well you could still see the green color just not as good, so if i was to dye my hair agian i will bleach it first. also my hair is really long and thick, I used 1 bottle cuz i only dyed half my hair. so if your wanting to dye your whole head of hair i would buy 2 to 3 bottles depending on how long and thick of hair you have. In order to get the most vibrant color possible you’ll need to lighten your current hair color. Wait several days before applying this dye. Carefully apply to every inch of your hair. For the darkest and most vibrant color possible leave on at least 2-3 hours. Rinse in cold water and towel dry. Apply the aftercare conditioner and leave on 20 minutes. Rinse in lukewarm water and comb out. My only complaint is that it’s too blue to be a real teal but it works well and lasts for weeks. The color is very beautiful but it only looked that way when I dyed my hair and washed it. The next day my hair turned from the beautiful color to a nasty mold looking green. No bleach was used before using the product. I applied this color on top of my brown hair that has not been dyed in 6 months. Would not recommend this hair color. ... show more
