I've been relying on this to en-Purple my hair for a couple of years. My hair grows very fast, but these colors look really good a long time- I just have to address the roots, but not the overall lustre.

So, I'm not a big fan of box dyes. I liked the conveniency of it and the fact that I mess with my hair on a weekly basis, it is definitely cheaper. And, sometimes you don't always get the color you hoped for. You should never expect the color of the box. It's just an example of what it could look like. It was pretty close but I tested it out. I had 2 types of hair dye, 2 types of shampoo. I got this to see if it lasted longer than the other. There were no difference in shampoo. It did last a few days longer than the other. But, washing your hair every other day, as I need to, you are basically giving the drain your money. For the price this is, I don't think it's worth it. The color was very pretty and if it lasted longer, I'd definitely get it again. But not that I was looking but it was not Metallic. As the other 1 of these I tried. I just based it off of the color was similar to what I wanted. Slightly darker but again, it's more of an example, so I was basing it off of it was color to what I wanted rather than that's exactly what I wanted. Sadly, with colors like these, you're not going to get a permanently solution, but you do hope you get what you pay for and this was not worth it at all. I use Sakura Pink over medium brown and grey hair every 5-7 weeks. It looks amazing and barely fades. Sometimes I upkeep it with a pink shampoo and conditioner (Celeb Luxury Viral Light Pink).
