They are easy to use - but your hand will get a little messy - and they wash right out in the shower. The only warning is that they may irritate skin; she has very sensitive skin and when she washed it off the first time, she let it wash out over her face. And then she had some minor skin irritation. My granddaughter loves to do hair and now she uses this to do any color that she feels like doing and there's so many choices this is so great and it washes out

These are fun for kids but do not show up as well on dark hair. Can still see some color but just be aware it is harder to see on dark hair.

Bought these for my daughter with medium/dark brown hair and you can BARELY see two of the colors. The rest of the colors don’t show up even a little bit. We tried them all and followed the directions exactly too. I already assumed the colors wouldn’t be super bright with her hair color and didn’t expect them to be extremely vibrant like the photos, but this was a big time bummer.
