It was the perfect choice because it’s small, manageable and holds heat for a long time. It provided immense comfort during the first few days…and the soreness afterwards. I put water in it (about half full) and heated it for 1:30 and it swelled a lot. I opened cap and steam came out. I then used it for 30 minutes and it kept the heat well. Afterwards, I put it back in the microwave for 1 minute. When I opened the mic and touched it, it exploded. Scalding water was everywhere - thank God my face wasn't hit.
