One time use and the bottom expanded. Only went to 15psi and she bulging already. I replaced with a presto stainless steel bottom unit. This one is all aluminum.

As others have mentioned, I have issues with the expansion while using this pressure canner. Because even though it's working now... Is this something I need to be worried about with future use? I'm not used to devices like this expanding the way it does. I've used manual pressure cookers, and have never had an issue. But the expansion on this is quite concerning. So I need to do some more research for safety concerns. Because...even though it's working right now... How long will it work before something goes wrong? And for this reason, I'm very leery of continued use with this product. Again... It worked fine canning the products. But I'm just very concerned about the expansion. ... show more
