It has plenty of power for a cordless. This is the second Pink Power tool I own. I also own the cordless drill. This sander is light weight and easy to use. I am refinishing some rockers and it is great for the smaller pieces. The battery life is around 1 1/2 hrs of constant use. But, the battery charges quickly. This product is perfect for my needs.

I was excited that I found a sander small enough for a female to use. After using twice this week the battery doesn't keep a charge, the velcro backing has come apart and the sander itself has locked up.
