got these because i was tired of fighting to pull out old staples to replace fencing--a little expencive but well worth it--so much easier to work with and installs in 1/3 the time as a damn staple--we get real heavey snow that pulls the fence down hard--never had one fail yet

These are great for retaining wire fencing my only criticism is that the screws provided are way too long .. Like 2” and they can’t be used in most applications … the retainer works well (with my own screws)

These clamps are strong and mount the wire fence securely to my wood deck. I've tried for many years using everything from staples to nylon and metal cable clamps for my wire fence and they all failed over the years.

I was having a hard time getting the poultry fence staples into the wood (they're curved and are a terrible design) so I ordered these instead. They're clearly meant for attaching barbed wire, or some thick gauge wire to a fence, and they're very well designed for that. I used it on our 'hardware cloth' (chicken wire) fencing which is a thin gauge much more fine mesh... not the best solution for that. I should have just bought a pack of fender washers and screws which would have worked just fine and been half the price.
