Everyone knows that this is her special chair and she loves it! First, it’s a super comfortable chair and when she isn’t around we rush to get this spot in the family room! Second, there are so many special features worth mentioning! When sitting to get out of the chair it is near effortless, it will adjust to a 45° angle allowing the person sitting there to basically stand up directly from the chair. It also is a wonderful recliner and will recline 150° with a footrest. So relaxing - AND it is also a massage chair! This chair really has it all. It has different modes for massage and it can target certain areas of your body. My favorite thing is the heat function. It is the perfect place to relax. Now you see why we all rush to get this spot in the house first! It is overstuffed and the thick padding makes it even more cozier. The recliner operates very smoothly and quietly, it is simple to adjust all aspects of it to your liking with a push of a button. The metal frame of the recliner makes it extra durable and sturdy, which is great since it is now the most used chair in our home. It is fitting for all of us and it can withstand the weight of us with no problem as my kids will both often sit in it with me. This recliner was simple to put together which made me very happy. I was able to get it together quite quickly and we started enjoying it right away. The media could not be loaded. We got this chair for my mom that has cancer and mobility issues and it has been a godsend. It has heating which really helps the pain in her back and joints. It has a massaging feature that also helps with all of the pain. It's the biggest thing is that it helps her get up and down which she can now do independently. It makes her feel like a person again that she doesn't have to ask for help just to get out of the chair. It is incredibly comfortable and it is beautiful. I like that it has a charging port on the side and little storage pockets and cup holders. The price is absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the quality compared to the price. This is the best lift chair recliner. It IS SUPER oversized !!! That is why I bought it. It is so comfortable. I recently broke my arm and cant get in my tall bed safely. The width of this recliner is perfect. I haven't tried the massage function yet but the heart function is the best thing ever. It also has cup holders. It it very easy to operate with only 2 buttons. One button to recline or put the chair down and one to sit back up or lift you up to stand. I am practically living in this chair and it is so comfortable.     • Poorly designed controls, especially for elderly
I bought this chair for my 93-year-old mother who had a similar one without heat or massage, but that had a very easy to operate remote control to change the chair positions (i.e., recline, boost, etc.). The remote control on this chair does not control the "recline" or "boost" function. The button to control that is on the right hand side of the chair as you are seated. It is cumbersome to reach and if anyone has limited use of their right arm, or is left-handed, it will be difficult to operate. The remote control allows you to control heat and massage functions, but the type is in such a tiny font that it is barely legible, especially for the elderly.
