Easy to use and no assembly needed. Temperature only goes to 158°f so may need to allow more time for meats. Very quiet I had to check and make sure it was on. I made venison jerky and it was delicious. Design is easy to use and works well.

Listen, I spend a lot of money on healthy fruits and dehydrated snacks. And who knew you could make them at home, but that they actually taste better? The amount of money I will save is huge and my fruit now tastes like candy. I cut up strawberries and bananas at night, put them in the dehydrator and wake up to them being done. Additionally, there is such minimal clean up. Every other thing you try to do at home creates such a mess and difficult to wash parts and this is just so stinking simple. Because you're dehydrating food, the left over is dried out, but easy to remove the residue. I'm thrilled about this purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this mainly to dehydrate chicken feet for my dog and learn to do more natural treats for her. When I first tried to get the chkn feet on the trays I quickly noticed they wouldn't fit. I almost gave in and returned this item as others have also stated in the reviews small can't fit anything.. if your struggling like I did watch my video to help with the trays! You can rotate them then stack to widen the width of the trays you can do large tray then small tray etc... Or set them all up as larger size. The noise level is very minimal and honestly for me the cook time took less time. With the model I chose it's just two knobs one power on/off the other is the temp very simple to use. I think I would have preferred to set an automatic timer I believe the other model has so if your thinking the timer is better for you I would get that one! Other than that one thing loving my new dehydrator and so does my doggie. 🐶 ... show more

This is a very good little food dehydrator - compact, easy to clean, works well, and from what I gather, energy efficient. However, in the included recipes, they explain how to make fruit leather, and direct you to use the fruit leather tray. There is none included, nor is one available from the company. Given the dehydrator's small size, they don't appear to make silicone or plastic fruit leather trays small enough for use in the machine. Everything is too big. If you are looking to use this for all the myriad ways you can use a dehydrator, just know that unfortunately you cannot make fruit roll or fruit leather with this, as the recommended parts for that don't exist. ... show more

This is definitely one of the better dehydrators but the worst flaw nearly made me return it: The Completion Alarm Beeping. It's awful. This alarm goes off for over a minute, and it keeps coming back until you unplug or turn it off. So this can be a VERY poor choice for anyone that prefers running this overnight. ... show more
