The hydrator is easy to use. Easy to clean. The noise level is low, temperature and heat are moderate. Capacity for me it’s good, Im dehydrating orange peals and aloe. Good value, time average.

Listen, I spend a lot of money on healthy fruits and dehydrated snacks. And who knew you could make them at home, but that they actually taste better? The amount of money I will save is huge and my fruit now tastes like candy. I cut up strawberries and bananas at night, put them in the dehydrator and wake up to them being done. Additionally, there is such minimal clean up. Every other thing you try to do at home creates such a mess and difficult to wash parts and this is just so stinking simple. Because you're dehydrating food, the left over is dried out, but easy to remove the residue. I'm thrilled about this purchase. ... show more

First time we tried it with apricots and figs -- did not work well. Apricots came out mushy (and left in for way more than recommended time. Figs hardened too much. Maybe operator error. Will try again and re-review.

We use this to dry our herbs. Oh my works wonderful. Only thing the holes on the trays are large. The dried items fell to the next layer. I will be investing in smaller holed mats for herbs. Perfect size for storage. Easy to clean also.
