I have to say I didn't expect much out this - but it totally worked great! Spray with a little oil, put the tortilla shell into the pan and close. It takes about 12-15 minutes to get a really good and crispy one. Maybe a tiny bit longer with the keto tortillas. Laugh as you might, but I actually love this thing! I made a few ahead and warmed them in the oven so we could have several people making taco salads at once. It's just fun and effective. I do recommend this if you like taco salad shells! I got this for my own birthday this year, and it has proven to be a winner! Easy to make a large quesadilla with large tortillas, or fold one in half and stuff it with cheese, salsa, and other treats! Easy to use, easy to clean, and it’s there when someone needs a snack or fast meal!

I had some 10" tortillas but they are too big for this bowl maker. I cut them back to 8" and they fit well. I'd also brush the tortilla with oil next time since they weren't very crispy. But I like it and will try it again and again.

Used this for a church luncheon for 50. Easy to use. Hint, if you want to have larger taco bowls use tortillas 10” or above. Most tortillas are 8”-9.” This saved me from not having taco bowls for our Fiesta luncheon.

I ended up returning this appliance....I expected to get a nice crispy taco bowl. I wiped the unit with a soft towel as instructed, wiped on a light coating of cooking spray (sprayed Pam onto a paper towel) again as instructed. I heated the unit for 3 minutes according to the manual instructions. My flour tortillas (Mission brand) were too large, so I cut them down to 8 inches.... 1st issue... it is hard to keep the tortilla centered when putting the top/lid/ cover down... every single one slid to the side and folded over the edge of the bowl/form. I cooked the first tortilla for the 3 minutes suggested in the instructions... it was still a little floppy so I let it go 2 more minutes. It came out sort of crispy-chewy and was hard to tear apart.... not the break apart crispy that one associates with a taco bowl. The 2nd tortilla I tries was a 6 in corn tortilla... I let it go 5 minutes... mostly rubbery when I took it out and definitely not crispy. Next tortilla... I lightly sprayed with cooking spray on both sides thinking the extra oil would help with the crispiness and cooked it for 5 minutes... crispy-ish in spots and not crispy in others... End result... a total disappointment. I finally tried the 2 metal bowl method (using taco bowl forms I had purchase years ago) and the air-fryer... and got the nice crunchy tortilla bowl you see in the photo. ... show more

Purchased this as a used Amazon product. It works perfect and came in original box, but it still had remnants of crumbs and cooking oil from whomever used and returned it to Amazon. I cleaned it up, and knew it was used, but I’m not accustomed to Amazon sending products they haven’t checked and cleaned up themselves. It doesn’t reflect well on the impression made re: checking the item over before reselling. ... show more
