This fountain is absolutely gorgeous. It was gifted to me and I am so in love with it. The lights are nice, but the fountain can be a little loud at times. I found myself turning it off at one point to make sure we could have a conversation without it. The motor on it isn't scream worthy, but it is a little noisy and might make you raise your voice a little. Other than that, the fountain is perfect. It holds a good amount, the cups are a little dainty but they seem to hold up well. Cleaning is pretty easy as well, just try not to get the bottom of it wet. I'd also suggest running soapy water through it before you wash. It's entertaining and will give the fountain a pre-washing through its pipes. ... show more

This machine broke the same day. It took about 2 hours for the chocolate chips to melt, worked for about 30 min then it just stopped melting. I threw it away at that moment. I didn’t want the hassle to worry about melting the chocolate with hot water, wash it, and return it.

This is a SMALL chocolate fountain. Keep that in mind when ordering. I don't think it's even as big as a football. However, despite it's small size, it did a great job for my party of nine people. I set up an appetizer/desert bar for before and after dinner. It ran continuously for five hour with no problems. I did have to add another batch of chocolate as the night went on. Some reviews said it was noisy, but I did not find that to be the case once the chocolate was added. Without the chocolate it made a bit of a racket but when the chocolate got pulled up through the fountain the sound was dampened considerably. Clean up is a bit of a challenge because chocolate gets everywhere. I did not clean mine until the next day and the chocolate had set up. The removeable tier and auger are plastic so I warmed them in the microwave and used paper towels to wipe off as much chocolate as possible, then washed in hot, soapy water. The unit has a heat only mode (separate from the fountain mode) so I heated the chocolate, wiped with paper towels, then cleaned with a soapy damp sponge. Paper towels and Q-tips are your friends when cleaning. The instructions said 2Tbs of oil to 6 oz of chocolate. It may have been the brand of chocolate melts I used, but I found 3Tbs of oil to 1 Cup of melts had a better consistency to get the chocolate up the auger and running over the tiers. ... show more

I had to travel with this fondue fountain, so the small size was very convenient. Set up and clean up we’re both generally easy. Only draw back is that it is quite loud. Still manageable though, and overall fun for special occasions.

The media could not be loaded. It arrived on time and all parts were intact. Very easy to put together. I think it’s priced well considering other beverage holders are around the same price & the fact that it’s a flowing fountain definitely adds an extra touch to your event. The only downside some might have is that you cannot use carbonated drinks, or juices that contain pulp/fruit/food in this fountain so that it doesn’t bubble over or block the flow. It’s also easy to assemble/take down and you can clean it with some warm, soapy water and a washcloth. I also use a small and large straw brush to throughly clean out the spouts and rods that connect each tier. We have used this fountain for both chocolates and cheese. Both worked great. Family Thanksgiving, it was the main dessert for 13 people. Everybody loved it. We did have to refill it once, but that was expected. Now we use it for family game nights with 4 or 5 people. We Don't have to refill it and usually have some left over. It is SUPER easy to clean. I was only able to use this one time. I had to heat the chocolate up before pouring it into the fountain. It worked good until the plastic tiers broke. I guess I get what I paid for!
