Easy to set up on my 65 inch, nice colors and looks really good. The matching lights to music setting is a no unless you like seizures, but the solid lights look great, can go from very dim to very bright. Turns on when I turn my tv on, remote works fine. Nice buy

These lights work great! Easy to install, the length was perfect for my size tv, the settings on the remote meet all needs when it comes to color and brightness preference. I love them because they take the strain off my eyes by just looking at the tv in a dark room.

The remote is OK. Like just OK. Nothing to brag about. Also, it needs to be perfect aligned to the box that hangs with the USB wire. But once you plug the USB into the TV, the TV blocks it so you can’t really use the remote that well. Also, there are limited functions in my opinion.. either way this is super super bright and it gets the job done. I bought it as a back light for my TV and that’s what it does. It gives me a back light I love blue, so I usually leave it on blue, and it is super bright. If I want to change the color I am able to change it. There’s also a music setting and then like a flashing setting. That’s basically it I’m very happy with my purchase. Also my TV is a 55 inch and it was just I’d say about 2 to 3 inches too big for my TV. (Still fit perfect in my opinion) so if you have a big TV, it might not be big enough for you. Anyway, if you have a 55 to a 65 inch TV. I think this is the perfect back light for you. Look how beautiful it looks in the pictures. ... show more

This product installed easily, colors are bright, remote is meh, but... From my experience, make sure you are able to reach the USB connector where you plug it into an adapter. 1st, if you have a TV that supports 1amp USB out, this works fine except when you turn off the TV for any length of time, when you turn back on the TV the colors reset to default so you constantly have to change to the color you want. 2nd, if you plug into a USB power brick and have power to the device 24/7 there is a slight problem. When you turn off the device at night, then attempt to turn in back on the next day with the button on the device, the remote or a Bluetooth phone, the device will not turn on the LEDs. However, the device does appear to be connecting via Bluetooth phone as my phone says it's connected; however, when I change the color of the LEDs for example, the light are not on and no apparent color changes. But, if I go unplug the device and plug it right back in, the LEDs light up with the last color attempted to change on the phone. Overall, make sure you have easy access to the USB plug so that you can reset the device daily. ... show more

    • Updated, not what they used to be!

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY!! I originally bought this set in June of 2021 and they were great. Very bright and you used the "Happy Lighting" app to change colors, settings, etc. I moved the TV that those were on to the garage when I got a new TV for the living room. Since the last ones were so great, I decided to get these again for the new TV. These are not the same. First, the LED strips went from white to black (a good thing considering they blend with the color of the TV). After installing them the instructions said to download the "Illumi" app to control them. I thought that was strange considering they were the same as the ones I bought last year and used a different app. I just went in my Amazon history and hit buy again, so I knew I was getting the same set. The worst part is that these aren't nearly as bright as my previous set. They are maybe 1/3 the brightness. The remote has several color option buttons. Choosing red comes up yellow. It has buttons to individually increase or decrease the amount of red/blue/green. These buttons do nothing. The next morning after downloading the "Illumi" app, my phone alerted me that a Solitaire app had been installed. I didn't download it, so I uninstalled it. As soon as I did that my phone alerted me that another game (Blocks) had been installed. I didn't install that one either. The only thing that changed was installing the "Illumi" app. After uninstalling it, things stopped being downloaded to my phone. I am returning these. They are terrible in every way. I had a different brand for another TV and they would change colors when I pressed the "OK" button on the TV remote. I had to get the remote for the lights and constantly change them back. These lights don't have that issue. They are very bright and you can use the app to change settings (colors, flash to music, etc.). I tested these with the remote before installing them and the remote worked great. However, after installing them on the TV and placing the sensor for the remote to where it is visible, the remote no longer works. Our couch is about 17' from the TV, so I assumed it was a distance issue. I then kept trying to change the color using the remote while walking closer to the TV. It still did not work. I even placed the remote directly on the sensor pointed at it and it still dosen't work. (I tested the battery using my phone's camera and it does work). I don't know if it is interference from the TV or what. Not a huge issue, I just make any changes with the app, but it would be nice to be able to use the remote. The app is great. It offers you an unlimited amount of colors to choose from and you can adjust the fading frequency (faster or slower) as well. ... show more

Easy to install and makes the room so much more enjoyable. You really can't beat the price too. The other light functions work fine, but I personally enjoy a warm glow the best- so the remote is really only for turning it on/off in my case. Would absolutely buy again

I like that the color options include pink. Another positive is that the light strip is black which blends in better against the back of a tv. Someone else left a comment about these lights turning on by themselves and mine do that as well. That’s strange. The remote is small and round and is kind of awkward to hold. If you’re not picky, these lights are fine. However, I prefer the PANGTON VILLA Led Strip Lights as the lights are brighter and the remote is easier to hold and control as well. ... show more
