It is also light, flexible and can be easily routed in small place with slim cat8 network cables.( unlike typical Cat8 cables that is difficult to run due to thick insulation).
  • Dual ShieldingCat 8 patch cable is made of double shielding F/FTP (overall foil and Individually foil shielding pairs), which protects from EMI/RFI line noise to avoid data loss or hardware damage and help equipment perform better. Cat 8 cables is especially suitable for high line noise environments.

The cables were exactly as described and seem to work great.

  • Picked these up for my patch panel
Size: 1ft Style: 10 Pack
I will be adding more of these soon when I restack this panel. Improvement in progress. I wanted to add detail on these wires -- they are CAT8 F/FTP PIMF 25/40GBase-T 2000Mhz slim patch cables... F/FTP: FOILED WITH FOILED TWISTED PAIRS This type of cable features an overall foil shield with individually foil tape shielded twisted pairs. These are similar to F/UTP cables, with the addition of a foil shield around each twisted pair. The cable construction is designed to provide the assembly with greater protection from crosstalk from adjacent pairs and other cables, RFI and EMI. PiMF is an abbreviation of the English 'Pair In Metal Foil' This CAT8 cable will reach 40G on these short runs and certainly can be used in that manner. No you won't be doing this at home in 2025. But they are inexpensive, they look great, they are very flexible, and they will have fewer errors than CAT6A because of their shielding overkill. In comparison, the 22 AWG CAT8 cable runs that I just ran in my house are huge, horrible to route, and are best terminated with a CAT8 field RJ45 connector into a 22AWG keystone jack, then patched with these. 5/5 ... show more

  • Great for network cabinet cleanup
Size: 1ft Style: 10 Pack
These 1’ Cat 8 cables were just what I needed to tidy up my rats nest of wiring in my home’s structured cable box. They were just the right length to go from my patch panels to my switches without any extra wire dangling and getting tangled together. The quality is also top notch, and Cat 8 future proofs your network for up to 40G theoretical throughput. ... show more

  • Very nice looking cords.
Size: 1ft Style: 10 Pack
I know nothing about cat 8 cables. However my son said these work great. Very easy to use. The cord has some flexibility but is not floppy. They make our setup look very nice instead of that long bright yellow cord that Sprectrum provided. Less cord mess on my desk where the modem and router set.

  • Great performance
Size: 1ft Style: 10 Pack
The only reason I took a star: They are listed as 1ft cables. They are 12" from tip to tip, including the connectors. The CABLE is 9". Some may disagree with me on this, but when you're talking about cables this short, the measurement should not include the connector as that's not usable "length". Just my opinion. That being said.... 0. I tested every cable in the pack. They are consistent in every aspect below: 1. SOLID build. from connector through the boot. 2. The cable itself is smaller than standard Cat-anything, which is great for dense setups. 3. The connectors are shielded, have a flap over the tab (part of the boot) and a "pretty" blue plastic for the plug itself (cosmetic, I know, but it gives a good impression for some reason.) 4. The plugs seat well and click in nice and snug (compared to some I've used recently) 5. 10Gbps performance is spot on. I don't have 40G on the bench at present. 6. The shielding/ground is intact end-to-end. I could make my own shorties for "dressing out" the rack, I know. But these popped up on Vine, so I figured I would try them and could still make my own if need be. Happy I got these. Consistency in appearance in the rack AND performance, at a reasonable cost (am buying more!) VERY happy with these items. ... show more
