This has been a great pot. I have bought Le Crueset in the past but not again. I think I’m gonna stick to Mueller. It has a good way to it but not overly heavy. It cleans up so quick and it heats up very nice and even, as long as you don’t use metal utensils in the pot you will preserve the enamel coating. Oh how I love my 6qt dutch oven! I chose Emerald green and not only does it look gorgeous, but it performs so well. I have used it to poach eggs, make taco fillings and my next culinary adventure will be to prepare a roast chicken with vegetables. This pot cleans up beautifully. Unpacked the box, washed out the pot for first use and made killer spaghetti and meatballs! This pot is PERFECT! i use an induction plate and this 4.5 quart dutch oven sits perfectly on the coils. The bottom heated evenly and held the heat perfectly! I followed the directions and began with a cold pot and oil and slowly heated until the oil shimmered. Very nice quality! Made with thin enamel around the lid and pot where the two meet. Feels rough and looks bare, but has thin enamel. Rest of enamel is perfect, no chips or thinned out spots. Completely sealed with enamel, don't have to season it. Booklet states it is marked as dishwasher safe, but they recommend handwashing and explains best way to wash and dry to keep it longer lasting. I followed instructions and hand washed and dried with a towel, then I let it air dry before storing it and no rust. Has good weight to it. Brand is a very common brand my family and I love to use, never had any issues with their products and this is my first one of this specific item. It comes with a booklet on how to use, clean, care, dry, store, and maintain item. Very happy with this item so far! Looks of better quality than most my family has used in the past from different brands. Great for the price. Well packaged. Highly recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful color. I was torn between the red and emerald green. I have used it to cook soup and bake sourdough in a 500 degree oven. It’s held up well and haven’t had any staining. Enamel was missing in a few spots in old upon first opening, and a few spot are chipped after using it on oven. See video for details. ... show more
