  • A sturdy beautiful pot
Color: Caribbean
The media could not be loaded. This strong Sauteuse Oven gets the job done. The color really pops and is so beautiful to look at. Everything cooks well and quick in it as it holds the heat. It is a bit on the heavy size when compared to its size. It is not the biggest pot by any means, but handles all the food I have put in it over the years. It is also very clean, still - no stains, nothing stock on it because it is very easy to clean. This pot will last me a decade or more and I hope to buy more in its line because of how well it has done in my home. ... show more

  • Best pot/pan/casserole dish and more in my kitchen!
Color: Licorice
I cook a lot and this is by far the most versatile and now, the most used pot/pan in my kitchen. It’s a skillet/frying pan that browns food well, a deep skillet, a sauce pot, a soup pot, a casserole dish, and a stove-to-oven pan. So versatile! The size is great for 4-6 servings, depending on what you’re cooking. I bought the licorice colour and it’s a matte black, but with enough sheen not to be boring. Definitely pretty enough to use as a serving dish. I’ve been using it so often, I keep it on the stove since it looks so nice. This is my first Le Creuset and I am very impressed. Heats well, easy to clean, and this size is easy to handle. Even fits in my Breville counter oven. I have a 5 quart inexpensive Chefmate Dutch oven and wanted the 5.5 quart Le Creuset Dutch Oven, but thought it silly since mine cooks fine. But having used this, I see such better quality, that it’s back on my wishlist now. That said, I’d still want this 3.5 quart size for its versatility and easy handling. I can see both getting a lot of use. ... show more

  • Perfect size for smaller portions
Color: Cerise
I really like the size and shape of this Sauteuse. It's taller than the Lodge 3.6 quart braiser. I like the shape, because now I can cook more soups/stews with the Sauteuse than with the Lodge braiser. Even though this is on the pricey side, I have a feeling that it will be well worth the money. It will be put to many good uses. ... show more

  • Le Creuset
Color: Flame
I bought this as a replacement for one I had for decades. I accidentally scorched the old one (forgot it was on an open flame). It was toasted. Yet someone actually bought it from me warts and all! That's how good these are. I kind of panicked when I no longer had one. It was my fault the other got damaged. These are expensive, but they're wonderful. Just don't use very high heat...they don't need it to do their magic. ... show more

  • Oooolala!!!
Color: Cerise
This arrived today & it’s everything it promises to be. I immediately set out to find a recipe to test its even cooking; it delivered as well as cleaned up easily. I chose it for its color, size and weight. Very happy with this purchase!!!

  • What’s not to love?
Color: Flame
It’s a Le Creuset (made by hand, in France, life time guarantee, with embossed serial number). Williams Sonoma sells this one for $320.00. Amazon had / has it on sale for $179.00. Buying it was a no brainier. (The rim on the first one they sent had a little chip. I returned it to Kohl’s on Saturday morning. The replacement arrived Sunday afternoon (USPS).) The best quality of all enamel coated cast iron pots; conducts heat really well, making it a pleasure to cook with; cleans easily; beautiful to look at (bought it in original, signature “flame” color). If I cooked more frequently (and could afford it), I’d buy the whole line in every size (in flame). ... show more

  • Beautiful pot that cooks anything to perfection!
Color: Licorice
What I love about this pot is that it is beautiful sitting on my range! But even more important, I had cooked in my daughter-in-law's 7.5 quart pot that weighs 17 pounds empty, and it was really more weight than I could handle safely. This 3.5 quart pot (10 pounds empty) has a wider bottom than the larger one, because the larger pot has curved sides that start from the bottom of the pot and it reduces the amount of flat pan bottom. These La Creuset enameled cast iron pots magically make anything cooked in them more delicious than any other cooking method, in my opinion. Anything from soup to cakes can be cooked in these versatile, multi-heat source wonders! ... show more

  • It's legendary for a reason
Color: Flame
I hesitated to buy a Le Creuset. As I am not a great cook I felt a bit unworthy to own such a high-end product, but I'm glad I went ahead and indulged myself. These pots and pans live up to their illustrious reputation and, in my opinion, can even help elevate a mediocre cook's food to higher level. They heat totally evenly and clean up like a dream. The only downside is that they're heavy - really heavy, so anyone with strength issues or any kind of hand or forearm problem might find these difficult to handle. One more thing - the color choice is fantastic. I leave my 'sauteuse' on the stove all the time - it's like kitchen jewelry. ... show more
