I bought them because I needed a good set and the color was a bonus. They are nice and cut well but dropped the scissors once and the handle cracked.

So I think these are really cool looking knives, but to convince my husband to buy them I needed something that was dishwasher safe. If you are like me, I researched and looked and found that it's really not a good idea to put ANY knives in the dishwasher. My husband did not want to hear that. A friend of mine bought these and I just loved how they looked, when I asked where she got them she told me Amazon and that they said dishwasher safe. The price was right so I had my hubby on board and honestly, they have held up through about 6 months of use in the dishwasher. Many of our previous knife sets that were more costly had already started to rust or fall apart at this point, but these are holding up. I see some blemishes in the rainbow chrome of a few, but very miniscule and it really doesn't bother me, when I am used to knives that fall apart by now with using a dishwasher. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is not looking to break the bank and wants a nice set of DISHWASHER SAFE knives. The rainbow chrome look was just a bonus for me. ... show more

These are the PERFECT knives set! They cut amazingly and have the best blade!! Rainbow is my favorite colors and these did not disappoint at all!! The plastic covers are durable plastic to help protect the blades from getting nicks in the blades. When I first used them I was honestly shocked on how sharp they are! They knife is thick enough for durability and the blade is sharp. I tried to show these qualities in the pictures but it does do it justice. On the measuring spoons you do have to assemble the lime green rubber handles and it’s pretty easy to do. It comes with one extra. ... show more
