I liked the selection of the knife and how they were already sharp. I really liked the sharpener and the stand is nice. The only thing I didn't like about the stand was not being able to clean it too well. Other than that it has been a great set of knifes.

Pros: -All black and sleek. -Easy to clean. -Came in sharp, ready to use, and provided sharpener will keep it that way. -Provided display allows you to see what you're pulling out, unlike traditional wooden blocks. -Would be a neat gift. -Very affordable to get your cooking needs done. Cons: -One of the blades on the peeler was bent in the other direction. Quality control needs work. (Look at picture) This is why I took 1 star off my review. -These knives are a bit on the lighter side. (Could be a pro for some, just feels cheap, matching the affordable price tag) -If you have this set on the provided display, you cannot have it under normal height kitchen cabinets. The bigger knives cannot be pulled out, hitting your cabinets. Have an open, free space above it, and it's great. Given my kitchen setup in my apartment doesn't have the ideal counter spaces to place this set, it's a chore to have to pull out the entire display, in order to pull out the knives I need, if my hands are wet/greasy, I don't want to make the display dirty with fingerprints or anything. I can see this working well on a kitchen island with an open space above it, which I don't have. -The scissors kinda flop back and forth on the display a bit, not as sturdy as the rest. -Although the display is unique and beautiful, it's nit going to be easy to clean and not have water spots stuck on. I bought a set 3 years ago after I sold my house and moved into a high-end apartment and wanted a certain aesthetic in my kitchen. I switched to black silverware and knives. They looked great. I bought a second set to keep as a spare in-case Amazong stopped selling them. Now, 3 years later I just moved into a house and bought my 3rd set (I can't find the other two in all the boxes anywhere, LOL). As far as durability, I used them regularly for over 2 years at first and they remained sharp and the pain had minor scuffs but didn't peel or anything. I don't know about other people's usage but I'm pretty gentle and careful with my stuff. I used it for cutting steaks, giant butternut squash, tomatoes, frozen chicken, my fingers (accidentally)... and they continued to remain effective and I never sharpened them once. Let's get back to that squash. Those are usually pretty difficult and scary but one of the knives in this set, if you use the right technique will cut right through it like butter. I can't see myself using any other set. The main thing is the clear holder and black color, it helps to keep the kitchen feeling open and less cluttered. I attached a picture, can you spot them?
