I will start by saying, I could not have been most skeptical to buy from this seller after reading such a mixed bag of reviews. I felt like it was a gamble making this purchase even with such a deep discount. I am wondering if some of these bad reviews are just plain lies or people bending the truth to get what they want. So here is an honest review from me, someone who thought he was going to have to send this chair back before I ever bought one. This is all just 100% fact, no BS for people that really want to find a review that matters. I purchased the Herman Miller Aeron with posture fit in size B. Order placed Feb 28th 2018, delivered March 8th; just one week! I live in CA and mine shipped from Brooklyn, so I was definitely impressed with the speed. I actually took videos of my unboxing the chair since I was 100% anticipating a crap product, this way damage couldn't be blamed on me and I would have evidence. THE GOOD: Upon opening, I found a 100% genuine and in perfect condition chair. EXACTLY what I purchased down the last bolt. It came tagged with genuine labels, documentation, you name it, it even has the little "secret" bumps under the collar to indicate the chair size. This chair is, without a doubt, a genuine product. People were complaining that with the posture fit you need to push a little wire through the back of "such a nice chair", those people are morons it takes 1 second, it also does not hurt the chair in any way (given you have half a brain). It is also worth noting that you have to do this even if you buy it directly from Herman Miller themselves! I could not be any more pleased, I sit in this chair 8+ hours a day for work and has significantly helped my back as I used to sit in a cheapo Staples chair. This chair comes 90% assembled and came with an allen wrench, All that is needed was a Philips screwdriver. THE BAD: There was a tiny scratch on the leg of the chair that likely happened during its long shipping journey from NY to CA. I think one of the wheels got loose in the box and bonked around making a tiny scratch. SO WHAT DID I DO YOU ASK? I emailed them and within 20 minutes and 1 email with a photo attached, they sent me out a tube of touchup paint (Andrew was whom I emailed with). I also emailed him back a few days later to ask if he had a tracking number for the paint, he replied within 5 MINUTES! This touch-up paint will be wonderful to have no matter what, as I plan to own this chair for a very long time! I cannot say enough good things about this purchase and how I have been treated. Amazing customer service, 5 stars there no doubt in my mind. BONUS TIP: I bought new wheels that fit PERFECTLY and make this chair look even more awesome/modern. Also, screw tacky wheels! They are clear and roll like a freaking DREAM on hardwood floors. One gentle push and I fly across the room like Alladin on a dang magic carpet! Item I bought below, also adding photos of these wheels in album.     • Nice Chair - But They Failed to Check Seat Shock When Refurbishing
I like the chair, just fine. However, I must mention a couple of things. First, they send two sets of arcane instructions. One relates to the chair I received and another to a later model. We are left trying to figure out which is which. And after doing so, the instructions / images are SO terrible, you end up just having to figure things out for yourself. But I eventually figured it out. Secondly, this is a refurbished item, but for $800, it needs to be fully functional, which was not the case with this chair. The "shock" that controls the chair height leaks and after sitting in the chair for a couple hours, I had sunk down about 4 inches. The support link amazon provided sent me to Herman Miller site, and given I had not purchased the chair from them, they could offer no support (this was by Office Logix). Ultimately, I assume chair would have bottomed out, eventually. The chair I was replacing had same problem and I cannot pay this much for a chair that leaves me in same predicament. I would have loved to keep this chair, as otherwise as it was fairly comfortable (from what I could determine having it for just a few hours). ... show more

    • Amazing chair, that will keep your back happy.
Well worth the money and for this price, probably one of the top chairs you can buy. Multiple adjustments and, most importantly, posture fit, makes it perfect for my back (two herniated disks are finally happy and let me work non-stop for 3-4 hours with no discomfort). Just make sure you get the size right for your body. I am 6ft and 165lbs - size B is perfect. I had a $200 cheap Office Depot chair l, which was fine for an hour or so I spent in front of my PC in the evening, but now with COVID and working from home, I cannot be happier that I switched. Now about the seller and condition of these chairs. I got mine from Chairorama. First chair had a little issue with discoloration, I would have still kept it, but when I contacted the store to give me suggestion on how to fix it (which I could try on my own), the representative just arranged for a replacement, which arrived in two days. Well... the new chair sent looks brand new, with absolutely no defects, discoloration, perfectly working mechanism and not a single scratch or dent... for almost half the price, compared to the official website. ... show more

    • REGRET: I'm returning mine. I think less of myself for buying an old used chair
The chair that I bought for almost $900 is old. It is old and used, and it looks old and used. The model tag says the style is from 2014. My chair has visible wear and tear (yes - small fraying on the patented mesh back). It has accumulated dust underneath. But, at least the casters are new. Forget it. I thought these were going to be in better shape. For not much more money I can buy a brand new HM chair. And, this is what I will do. I'm returning my chair - happily returning it. Don't go cheap. Buy something new and of high quality - it's less expensive in the long run. The experience of sitting my butt in a used chair that seems to be years old would be terrible - every day at my office I would think I'm having a compromised living experience. Forget it. I regret this purchase. I'm sure the seller is great. The chair arrived on time - actually ahead of time. The box was damaged, however. And the chair was packed like someone just threw it in this huge box and put a plastic bag around it. Nothing about this experience feels like quality - and when I buy something like an HM chair I want quality. I want that feeling like opening up a new Apple iPhone. Right out the gate, the sturdy packaging with close tollerances sets you up for an all-around quality experience all the way through to the actual product itself. With this HM chair - that is not the case. I feel like I purchased someone's hand-me-down. And, I feel like I over-paid for it. This experience has lowered my opinion of myself. If the seller doesn't accept my return request, I will just throw this chair into the trash. I don't want to sit on someone else's gas pad. ... show more
