I got the larger size and it's perfect to warm the foot of my bed. It would also work well for pain relief. I didn't want a full length heated mattress pad. The cord and is long enough to hide under the bed skirt and reach the outlet near my headboard, and the controller hangs over the side under the duvet unobtrusively. So, I could put it in place and leave it. The temp setting is super easy to use and understand, as is the timer. I love not having to wake up to turn it off. It has no smell. Seems good quality but if it doesn't last I'll be mad and will definitely come back to update my review. It's also very soft, pliable and a nice weight, but doesn't weigh down my feet. My daughter-in-law loves this heating pad. The 7 ft cord lets her sit where she wants. It heats quickly. You do not need to use the highest setting to get plenty of heat. She loves the soft, washable cover and the purple color is her favorite. I will be buying one for myself.

This heating pad came in handy after my hysterectomy. It is easy to use and has 6 heat settings. It also has a timer that you can set so it can automatically turn off when you set it. This thing is huge. I bought the 17" x 33". It's so soft. I like that it had a timer and seems to be consistently warm. I feel like 1 feels life almost no heat, what so ever. But other than that, it's pretty good.

The size is great, not too big or too small. Great price too. I bought the 12" by 24" inch. The fabric is very soft. Heats up quick. Has adjustable levels for heat and a timer. FYI, one of the warnings said do not sit or lie on pad. Since I bought it for my back, this does mean I can't sit on the couch with it behind me.
