So I spent the last week after work reading reviews on all the different chairs since I was looking for a new one. I finally settled on this chair. I was looking for a couple of things I wanted a chair that was Comfy, Sturdy, and that could rock. This chair hit all that and than some. There is literally 100's of chairs on Amazon I limited my search by just looking at ones that have prime shipping. Also ruled out any chair that did not rock. also limited more by seat depth I dont like feeling like I am going to fall out of a chair depth needs to be at least 18 inchs for me to not feel that. Assemble was easy I did it by my self no second person it comes with every thing you need out of box if you have a screw driver helps but is not needed. Overall chair reclines, rocks, is sturdy, and super comfy. At first it does not feel anything special but after sitting in it for a couple of hours there is no pain or anything I love the head pillow it sits just right. I am 5'7 but I can see it being just as comfy if you are 6ft plus or under 5'5. The free massage pillow is nice it just vibrates but if still feels good. Only con I can think of is the lumbar pillow is a bit to big but its not fixed to the chair or anything so you can just not use it if you dont like it. Think its reasonably priced only been sitting in it for two days but so far so good. Will update my review if any thing changes. I do not regret buying this chair at all.     • First impression; it appears to be a quality product.
There were some hiccups along the way with shipping because of Covid. However, the seller sorted them out and we received the chair. If it seems like it’s taking a long time for delivery, just wait. It will get there. The seller was very responsive to our inquiries. We just unboxed and setup the chair so my review is only based on my initial impressions of the chair. It took about 20min to assemble. All of the parts were in the box and everything lined up as it should. They provide a set of knit gloves to wear during the setup process. (I’m not quite sure why) All of the tools you will need are supplied as well. The instructions are good and easy to follows. The drawings are a little off but not enough to be a problem. The materials are nice. The seat and back have a lot of padding and are very comfortable. The reclining part of the chair is great. The chair is very sturdy and you don’t feel like you will fall when the chair is fully reclined. I would have liked an option to lift my legs when the chair is back. You will need to find something to put your legs on to be more comfortable. It has a nice high back and deep seat. There’s a lumbar pillow that comes with a massage feature that plugs into a USB port. I’ve not tried it out yet. It looks durable, but time will tell. I must admit to being a little hesitant to order a chair online but the reviews here (validated with review "checkers") convinced me to go for it. My old chair that I bought locally after sitting in one was over 12 years old on on a second hydraulic cylinder. It had developed and intermittent incremental lowering and with worn mounting plate bolt holes a wobble and cant. Despite the faux leather still in decent shape it was time for a new chair. Not many of my old chair styles to be had anymore. The "racing style" is more prevalent. With my sons advocating such for comfort I decide to go for one. This model appealed to this old retiree as it didn't have headrest cut outs or gaudy racing stripes. It also cited a weight rating of 370 pounds which I viewed as indicative of a quality hydraulic cylinder. :) My son assembled it for me and found the process quick and simple with no issues. The controls are firm and very positive . Only nit for me personally is that my old chair allowed rocking some 40 to 60 degrees or so while this one is limited to 20. Again not a manufacturers problem, just me and my likes. I was surprised to find the USB powered suede covered small lumbar pillow included as a "bonus." Really appreciate that as I no doubt will need some time to get used to either of these loose lumbar cushions compared to the mild built in support of my old chair. Thank you HEALGEN! Comfort and adjustments thusfar has exceeded my expectations. Obviously long term durability will evidence itself in the future. But for this initial review a big thumbsup. Addendum: Granted it's still early but a few more observations: Using the chair set at 105° (rather than 90° straight upright) without either lumbar pillow is very comfortable while using the computer as the lower back has some mild lumbar padding which is effective. I find the small massage USB powered lumbar pillow is great when leaning back, rocking the 20° permitted, and relaxing while listening to music on my headphones or watching a video on the computer monitor. And for a real treat or back pain relief, the larger matching upholstered cushion in 120° or 150° "recliner mode" is da bomb! UPDATE: One armrest developed an issue so I reached out to the seller via Amazon's messaging system. After a brief exchange and pictures I was told a replacement assembly would be sent to me. What i didn't expect but am extremely grateful for is the item having been FedEx'ed Express from Jiashan, China.
