We had the Aluminum version before and upgraded to this Stainless version. Like the old one it works like a charm. I don't understand what people do to this pot that they blew safety valves in a row or even grenade their kitchen with it... If it is used as described in the manual all is fine.

    • Quality issues
The quality of the product is getting lower over the period of time.. we have been using hawkins for a long time but the item we bought has lot of issues, which we never experienced before. It doesn't hold the steam and very difficult to close the lid and watch over to make sure lid is closed properly so that there is no leak to escape the steam ...its just waste of money... very disappointed with item. ... show more

    • Poor product from Hawkins, avoid it
This cooker is not suitable for dishwasher, in spite of being made of stainless steel. It’s inner body hot eroded and developed linings of different color after first wash in dishwasher. Also, handle doesn’t get locked properly. Poor product from Hawkins.

    • Safety valve broke in 3 uses
The product did not last more than 3/4 uses. The safety valve of the pressure cooker broke. Extremely disappointed. Heard from the seller who is not willing to take back the defective product and refund the money. Terrible customer service

    • Was not what I expected.
Blast of steam comes out. Sometimes it just leaks out. Seal works some times. had to oil it for it to work.
