Love our pans. Unfortunately they do wear on the top where the lid hits fairly quickly. We’ve had them 4 mos and only hand wash. Update 8/2018 now two pans have stain marks and we only use them on low heat. Update 11/11/18 found that a magic eraser does wonders to remove the stains but they quickly return ... show more

My wife and I searched high and low for pans that we not only pfoa free but also did not have an alluminum core (most other “ceramic coated” pans do). We’ve had these for 2 months and while there is some small amount of coating starting to come off on the edges, overall these have held up great. They cook extremely evenly and we’ve not once had to use any elbow grease to remove stuck on food. 1 year Update: Pretty Disappointed, after loving these and using them for a year they became completely unusable. The non-stick coating came off in the middle of all the pans and look they looked like 50 yr old pans. They were also completely unusable even with quite a bit of oil. The weirdest part is on one of the pans, the bolts that hold the handle on “degraded”, basically got bumpy and porous. They soaked up food and smelled really bad, I soaked them for days and the smell was still terrible. For paying the price I did for these I really expected more, ended up just replacing them with a $150 set of ceramics from Macy’s that way if I those go bad it won’t hurt my wallet nearly as much. ... show more

I bought these last week and used the large pot and straining lid to cook fresh spinach. After straining the water and removing lid, the rim of the pot showed chipping of the non-stick coating!! One use!

First, anyone with anything negative to say about these is just a lesser intelligent human that does not know how to treat things. [Like most 1 star reviewers] I could write a 5,000 word essay of why everyone should throw their garbage cookware out and get these, alas I will not. Just a few highlights. Food cooks and tastes better, no anodized aluminum and ridiculously easy to clean! I shopped waaaayy to long to find a great set and wow this set is great!!! I find excuses to cook because with these pots and pans cooking doesn't suck, it is not a chore, but rather something I look forward to doing. To clean these no matter what you cooked in them simply let them cool and spray them off and wipe them dry; 9 times out of 10 that works if not a light wipe with your fingers or sponge and shazam like new. Dont be a lazy ass and put them in the dishwasher, it's to easy to spray and dry them. Also I didn't believe it at first, but food tastes better when cooked in these pans! Also you can regulate heat very nicely, just start low and dial the heat up slowly as needed. ... show more

    • Frustration From Day One

I received this set today, and literally as I was washing the larger saucepan for the first time, a 1/4" piece of the nonstick coating flecked off. When I looked at it more closely, it appears that there is actually a slightly larger area that's loose, but only the very center of it fell off. The saucepan has never been heated, and only ever has had Dawn disch liquid, warm water, and a sponge in it. I figured "OK, stuff happens, don't flip out." I called Greenpan's customer service, let them know that I had bought the set on Amazon and described what happened, and was told to e-mail what happened and pictures to the warranty service address. Which I did. About 45 minutes later, they e-mailed me back and told me that they couldn't resolve my issue and that I had to talk to Amazon about it. Which I did. Amazon won't replace the defective pan only; I either had to return the whole set or take a partial refund and buy a new pan. I chose the latter. But they didn't tell me that they don't sell the Venice Pro 3 quart saucepan individually...so I had to settle for a non-matching Paris saucepan as a replacement. It'll be here...in a week. This may be the single most frustrating purchase I've ever made; I've spent most of an evening fooling with something that isn't even my fault, and am frustrated beyond belief before I've even had a chance to use the stupid cookware. I gave the set 1 star, because I literally have no idea how it actually, you know, works...but so far, 1 star is 1 too many. ... show more

I think that people who wrote negative reviews on these didn’t take care of them properly. These pans clean up like a dream. I’ve had mine for 2 months - I absolutely live them. I cook EVERY night so they’re being used at least once or twice a day!! If I had one complaint it would be that the metal on the lids are slightly easy to bend. So careful on mishandling them. ... show more
