This chair replaced a straight back cane chair that had a torn seat I covered with a cutting board and cushion. Can't tell you enough how comfortable this new chair is in my home (retirement) office. Assembly was a breeze...I didn't assemble the headrest...just didn't need, but did add the additional lumbar cushion which is great for my aging back issues. The chair sits directly on my Brazilian hardwood floors - no matt or carpet. I read that there were upgraded wheels for hardwood so I ordered them along with the lumbar cushion (at no additional cost, and with a simple email request). To date...three weeks later...I still haven't swapped out the wheels as I haven't noticed any marring on the floor with the standard wheels. I'll eventually get to the new ones, because they seem to be really smooth and look really nice. The chair is completely adjustable...seat adjusts forward, which helps accommodate the additional space for the lumbar cushion. Back tension is fine and it rolls very smoothly and quietly. Mesh back and seat are very supportive and cool. Only concern is the arm rests hit my desk from time to time. Material for the armrests is quite robust and there is no damage to them, but just in case, I covered them with a cheap set of cloth covers. That would be my only suggestion, is for the manufacturer to offer high quality auxiliary protective arm rest covers if one would ever need them. I have had multiple padded PU leather office chairs in the past. They are nice for a while, but then bottom out after 3-6 months. I recently began suffering from sciatica that prevented me from sitting in my leather chair for longer than two hours. That just won’t cut it for me since I work at home. I reached out to a specialist on Craigslist who has been purchasing and reselling high-end office chairs for 15 years. Her prices were still too high, but she gave me great tips for finding an ideal chair. She said to buy a chair with an adjustable sliding seat to position it just behind my knees to alleviate the sciatic inflammation and adjustments that lock in different positions leaning back to reduce pressure on your lower back. The GABRYLLY ergonomic office mesh chair with a sliding seat was perfect! It was super easy to put together and they even give you extra parts. I have not experienced any sciatica since I have been using it. It doesn’t have lumbar support, but if that bothers you…there is a free solution. Just contact Gabrylly and they will send you a free lumbar cushion. They quickly responded to my inquiry and were very supportive. The chair arrived with a broken wheelbase. The packaging was fully intact, so it was broken before it was packed and not caught during the packing. The Support side handled the issue quickly. They sent me a replacement wheelbase.

I own the high back version of this chair, the high back version of its predecessor, and a mid back Herman Miller. This Gabrylly newer version is the best chair out of the 3. What sets it apart, for me, is the adjustable seat depth. With the seat depth and the mesh grip, I like how the seat buckets me in and prevents me from slouching. There are several pros common to its predecessor. I like the waterfall seat edge to reduce pressure on my hamstrings. The lumbar support is good, but I wonder what it would be like with a stronger, more rigid, lumbar support, behind the mesh. The mesh provides good air circulation, cooling, and grip. The headrest allows my neck to relax in a neutral position. The tilt allows me to rebalance pressure away from my rear, and more towards my back, after sitting in one position for too long. I think the height of the chair is fine. I am 5'5" and configured the height to the lowest setting. The armrest allows me to fully tuck the chair into the desk. Solid chair! ... show more

I have been really happy with this chair. The quality seems very good. I'm only 5'5 but was able to adjust everything to my preferences, even the headrest! Being able to fold the arm rests up really helps with sitting closer to my desk and for storing the chair pushed under the desk. Customer service was also very helpful. The wrong set of screws arrived with the chair but they had the correct set sent to us in less than a week. Email responses were generally received within 24 hours.     • Nice, but not for very long periods
This is a functional office chair. It’s comfortable enough for a few hours at a time however, it’s really not suitable if you’re gonna be sitting for a long day I have a standing desk so I alternate between this and standing and so it’s fine for me. I do like when I’m sitting that I can adjust the arms, and so far is held up to my banging it and knocking it around and toping over one or two times because I leaned too far back! it was easy to put together. I did it by myself and it’s held up so I must’ve done a decent job. I’m not a professional office chair builder so it must be easy. So again, I reiterate it’s functional. It’s good for a few hours at a time but it’s not gonna be comfortable for a very long session. Definitely not a gameing chair. ... show more
