  • Seems Sturdy Blue is a bit more subdued than in the picture
Color: Blue
got the chair so I could use it at a work table that I raised using to use as a standing desk using these: https://www.amazon.com/Utopia-Bedding-Premium-Adjustable-Furniture/dp/B073WFCV1L/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_2_4?pd_rd_w=ZhlVH&pf_rd_p=454eda66-575d-4584-9511-fd768a5c8a77&pf_rd_r=M0GKNB8BNDE08YAK8796&pd_rd_r=3d65db47-c61f-49ef-91cf-5bd6f298eec4&pd_rd_wg=CKtu8&pd_rd_i=B073WFCV1L&psc=1 I also wanted to be able to use it as a standard desk as well. Does not go as low as I thought but low enough to be at a desk height that is not an uncomfortable sitting position (arms mostly level for me to have my elbows at a right angle while typing. Seat pad is well cushioned, I do not feel the solid area under the pad. The foot rail is sturdy, one of the reason I bought this one is the others' foot rail all seemed too wimpy for me., and I read that was the case in other chair reviews. went together quite easily, all holes lined up enough to get it together without any severe adjustments. REMEBER leave screws loose until they are all in the holes and not cross threaded, There is a bit of locktite on each one as to not allow them to back out so you will feel a tiny bit of bit bit of resistance but it is tiny, if it feels too much back out and try again. Everything is heavy duty plastic and will bend a tad to adjust the holes as needed, except the base to the seat cushion but the holes in the metal base are slotted enough to make up for the misalignment you get in cheap goods from china . Jiggle the pieces you are putting together to allow you to get the screws in finger tight to ensure no cross-threading, they are fine threads and I get could easily be stripped There are extra bits of hardware in case you lose a few thing, nice with how these small things always seem to get lost on me. Seat overhang area is padded to very comfortable when you sit back or hang your legs and let them swing. Back lumbar curve sticks out a lot but you can push back on it and it gives (there is NO back tilt and the tilt know on the bottom was a pain to adjust and only tilted the whole seat back ant that raised the front of the pad to an uncomfortable pitch (for me at lease) I tend to sit off the rear of the seat anyway while I am working. Time will tell how ling it lasts and How comfortable it will be for a full day of work. I will update after I have done that. ... show more

  • Great chair.
Color: Blue
I love this chair. Love that the arms go up and down. Love that the foot rest is perfect for myself. Not sure the issues others are having with it. Thought it was upside down but the picture shows the proper way. It is perfect for me. Also love that the radius of the bottom isn't larger than the seat cushion. You know exactly what room you are taking up. ... show more

  • Well-made, inexpensive stand-sit stool chair available
Color: Dark Gray
PROS: 1. Cheap, can't find a cheaper one that facilitate sit and stand & still give you lumbar support. 2. Arm rests swing up and out of the way, this is a big deal. Fixed ones are very problematic because they deny you the ability to bring the seat to the right height below the desk for comfort and interfere with keyboard tray. 3. Easily adjust up and down, rotate front and back for lumbar relief. 4. Quality components, they are nice to the touch, unlike the cheapo junk ones you pick up at big box stores. 5. Easy to assemble with the Allen wrench provided. Parts fit together rather well. CONS: 1. The diameter of the foot rest ring is small, you really can't put your feet on it to rest or to support yourself when the stool/seat is all the way up. Even it it is big enough, the ring will get in the way if your seat is all the way down and you want to put feet on the floor, and it will never be big enough for you to extend your feet out forward for an ideal greater than 90 degree obtuse angle between feet and thigh about the knee. My answer is a step stool underneath the desk. *************** For an inexpensive solution, at $56 Gray (hiked up to $84 today) as opposed to $164 White, $158 Black, $104 Blue, you can't do better. Expensive ones usually disappoint, there is a chair website that tests them all and their testers cannot agree on which one is the best. Not sure how a chair can cost $1k or even $500, most people rarely use all the ergonomic functionality provided. It's best to learn how to properly stand, sit and work, and not think a magical solution exists in a perfect chair. I am a cheap skate, and an architect who have worked with vendors to spec "contract furniture" chairs for office solutions. They start around $350 to above $1k each. First of all, there is no such a thing as a "best" sitting chair. The reason is very simple, extended sitting is bad for your health. If you don't get up or move about or change posture every 30 min, you will ruin your health (spinal, neck, arms, legs, etc.) but you won't notice it until pains and all sorts of problems kick in. So the goal is not to get the best chair for sitting, but a chair that accommodates the ideal, optimal frequent and consist, always changing stand-sit-work set up. I have a big electric table for years, picked up at IKEA for $100 because it is as-is, that moves up and down to easily facilitate switching between standing, leaning and sitting, but I have yet to find a chair/stool that makes it easy to do work with all such options. ... show more

  • Decent chair for the price
Color: Black
I bought this chair for the hours of sitting I am now doing while I work on my research assignment. Assembly was pretty self-explanatory, and a second pair of hands was definitely needed to hold the pieces together in order to bolt them together. So far I'm happy with the chair, I love that I can use it at both the dining room table and the bar-height kitchen counter. The seat could use some better padding as it starts to feel really hard after about an hour, but the back is really supportive and I love that the armrests can flip up and down. The footrest is the perfect size and so far no issues with it holding up. Overall, I am satisfied with the chair, as are my kids that also use it occasionally when doing their virtual classes. ... show more
