It’s not heavy yet it’s thick so nothing scorches or burns easily. I haven’t had anything to stick but if it does it will be easy to clean. It’s just exactly what I needed and was looking for. It had come in very handy. I knew I needed a pot this size for a long time but never got around to ordering it. Now I am glad I did. It is a good quality pot and lid. The handle on the pot and lid are heat resistant. They don't get hot and burn your fingers. The pot is non stick and easy to clean. I expected the pan to cook evenly and hold its heat well but the crowning touch is the handles. I have had problems in the past with handles, especially on the lid, being hotter than I want but these are not only lovely to look at but do not transfer any heat to my hand.
