I was excited to find a short LED strip, I usually get the standard 25ft length and cut them down. I make carved Lithopanes and then illuminated them with LED strips so I was really excited to get a short one which I hate to waste LED and I hate to mesh them together but I know you can but that's a pain in the neck. maybe because these are made for televisions and the adhesion didn't stick to wood as well as I was hoping but if you're going to stick them to anything other than plastic I wouldn't count on it holding at all the lights are great everything else is great about the remote the brightness all good except the sticky tape part is not as good as I wanted it to be ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I'm so glad I went with this light strip! I was looking for something a little over 9 feet long to cover the entirety of my TV and something that was affordable. This was both! But it's not just basic lights. (like the pack I originally bought at Dollar General for $8 that doesn't come with a remote and take batteries to run...) This strip has a remote and an app to control the light settings. From different modes, to audio syncing, and brightness and speed controls. It's such a great deal. I just applied it to the back of my television and it looks so neat! It plugs in with a USB with its really important for me. Less garbage using batteries and you don't have to worry about it not working when batteries die. You just leave it plugged in and you can shut it off whenever you like! The adhesion is also really good. And if there's any areas stuck crooked or need fixed, you can use a knife to raise the strip up in the area and adjust as you see fit. If it causes any wrinkles or creases it's okay as it's hidden behind the tv. But you should generally be able to tack it up and adjust if needed, with no issue! My TV also only has one USB plug, and since it was already in use, I had to buy a USB extension so I could have all the USBs plugged in at the same time. It's a really handy item to have if you have the same issue! I got mine here on Amazon. It is the "Amazon Basics 4-Port USB to USB 2.0 Ultra-Mini Hub Adapter" that only cost a little over $8. They both arrived today so I was able to set it all up! Love it! Can't wait to play some games on my console and sync up lights. ... show more

The lights are good very vibrant and I love the sequence it’s just the fact that when I turn it off it just turns on without me doing anything so I just have to keep unplugging it when I’m done then plugging it back in. It’s just inconvenient.

Leaving my prior comments below from the original review, but I’m updating to say I appreciate the good customer service from this seller. After unsuccessfully troubleshooting the issue they promptly gave me a refund. Apparently me and my teens all have the same lights, and they overlap in the app. The app is awful and there’s no way to differentiate who’s lights are whos. I can’t even figure out how to get my leds to come on anymore, and because the app is glitchy and disconnects the leds, not even the cord or remote will turn my lights on or off anymore. I’m ripping them out and trashing them. I’ll buy another set that isn’t compatible with this stupid app whatsoever. ... show more
