At the end of last month, I sat my hubby down and showed him how much unnecessary spending was happening and I thought he was going to have heart failure. It hits a little differently when you can show where the spending is at as opposed to just telling someone they are spending too much money. He handed over his cards and apologized. He hasn't spent a dime since I showed him and now, I can more easily control the spending and get us on the strict budget we need. I love this little book. It has definitely helped organize our finances. It has a section where you can put in your bills by category as well as monthly goals you want to achieve. I wanted something small and simple. I purchased a different budget book in the past w/ calender, etc and I felt overwhelmed with the stickers, various different task, pages and embellished design. It was beautiful and pricey but too overwhelming with my busy life and ADHD. I loved it but it did not work for me. This book is easy to use and perfectly simple. I tend to get bad anxiety and stress over finances. I can easily put it in my purse and work on my budget during lunch at work or waiting at the hopital. I like that the cover is water proof and I can sanitize it with alcohol if needed. I also like that it is decreet. The paper quality, design and sturdiness is great and perfect for me. I use a fine point black gel pen and paper does not bleed. I use my calender on my phone so I do not need any other stationary. I do not balance a checking account but I use this budget planner to keep up with transactions, income, bill dates, debt balance tracking, payment plans or agreements and spending habits. Any return credits or refunds I track also. All little spending is with cash and the big spending is tracked in this budget tracker. For example, allowance cash $50 weekly for lunch, snacks, extras.... everything else is tracked, even payroll or extra income. It's a cute well organized planner. I'm missing December 30-31 which is sad because my baby Birthday is on the 31st of December. Other than that it's a decent nice size planner. Easy to carry around. I have been using it now for about two months and it’s really helpful. I feel like I got a useful planner at a great price. I use all of the pages available and the planner itself tackles every category I need. I feel like it’s the perfect size- big enough to write out what I need but not too bulky. Very happy with my purchase and will be buying again next year.
