Updated to 5 stars. I think those complaining about it not working are using incorrectly. The EQ button is close to the volume button and if I hit by mistake it make an offense from Movie mode to Blog or music mode. Also the display will turn off after a set time. I think people are confusing that with it not workin. Original review follows. Seller sent me a replacement soundbar. I set up with the optical since my HDMI EArc is used by PS5. Works great and sound is really good for the price. With the working remote I was able to adjust the sound and for the price is a great sound bar for small rooms. Left at 4 stars because a few reviews say they quit working after a few weeks. If it works 2 months from now will bump to 5. Original Reviw BT lag is bad and could not get it to sync with TV. So I took TV off the wall and connected with the optical cable. That got it synced and the sound is good. The problem is the remote does not work. I can only adjust the volume at the bar itself. Not terrible but the bar does not allow you to adjust the base volume. So it is drowning out the voices. Amazon cannot send me a replacement remote which is all I think I need if I forego BT connectivity and use the optical. So back it goes and will most like just pay for a higher quality soundbar to avoid the small issues. I will say if I could have adjusted the base to a better level for the price this would have been a 4 star review. It is a decent unit for small rooms at a really good price. ... show more

This product shines in every aspect. The clarity, ease of setup, frequency response and value have exceeded my expectations. This product is made in Germany. In 1979, I was stationed in Germany and know from experience that all German made electronics are high quality. The sound bar is small, yet the build and audio quality are huge. This is a high quality product. The remote feels good and functions well. The subs cord is extra long which makes for ideal placement which is imperative to the overall sound quality. The box even comes with a handle, incase you want to take it somewhere (like a hotel). I LOVE this product because of the audio, build, and adjustment options. The Dolby Atmos feature adds an additional layer of quality, though many previous reviewers seem to downplay it's presence... I can hear what it adds. The subwoofer, though small, is extremely efficient. The bass is tight and accurate...even "punchy" when requested. Those who complain about the sub need to move it around the room and find the spot where the bass is good and place the sub there. This product does more than replace the TV speakers, it is a complete sound system. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it. 5+ Stars! ... show more

It took me a couple purchases and returns in order to find a a fairly priced sound bar with subwoofer. I will say the subwoofer living in an apartment. It’s just too loud regardless it puts out too much space and you are unable to customise the base level you can’t turn the base off when the subwoofer is plugged into it And when you unplug the subwoofer and just play it from the sound bar it sounds like a speaker no I’ve gotten used to the subwoofer not being plugged in and I actually like it. My TV did not get very loud with all of my air-conditioners and fans running but now that I have this I have it connected to the ox and the arc cable output is connectivity feature with the HDMI/arc output connected to my phone Very easily there are a lot of cords that go with it though with my little kittens always trying the chords because there’s so many of them there’s like four or five chords. I do like how it comes with the converter input so you can use the HDMI cord the ease of installation Was fairly simple for the price point there’s not much I can complain about if I wanted a better quality I could’ve paid for more but for now this is perfect when I move to an apartment with I will be able to use the subwoofer but the sound is loud enough. I bought this for my Computer room (bedroom by original standards). I watch tv while doing things with the computer so it's a nice setup for in here. Now lets dive in to the pros and cons. Cons... I have an older Sceptre Tv and do have issues with the E-arc not working properly. I can usually get it working again by unplugging soundbar, waiting a bit and plugging power back in to it. I don't know if it's the soundbars fault or the tv. Sometimes switching mute off/on will get it to work on E-arc. I have the optical hooked up also and just switch it quickly to optical sometimes if it gets in a bad mood. Stereo sound is extremely minimal. Left/Right stereo sounds are not well defined. High notes are muted. Pros.... The sound from this is incredible for it's size! Vocal clarity is very good especially with new V131 I installed in it from their support. The file is named simply update.zip and you just download the file on to a USB flash drive and plug it in to back of soundbar with it powered on and it will update file on to the soundbar. It isn't firmware per say, but rather different operating system setup for changing the overall sounds of the soundbar. Tech support via email is extremely helpful if you have any issues or questions. For it's price it is very powerful and the subwoofer is extremely key to this. If you unplug the subwoofer from the soundbar it sounds like a tin can so to speak. They really need each other, but it gets pretty loud and rocks out nicely for a bedroom. One thing they didn't tell me from tech support is that is EXTREMELY important is if you have an update file in your download folder already (as I did with the V98 I installed previously) please BE SURE that there is NOT a (1) after the update name or it will NOT install. This I had to find out the hard way after trying to install the file as it had that on the end of it's name so it would not install. Everyone needs to be aware of this evil snake that will sneak up and bite you while your trying to do this for your soundbar. Tech support failed to inform me of this and I spent a huge amount of time for nothing and had no clue why until we finally figured it out. I did tell them they need to make changes to the file names so that they are named the number they actually are which would help us and them (V131) for example for the one I installed which would eliminate the problem all together. Be certain it is named update.zip ONLY. Overall this little beast is extremely well suited for any bedroom/aux. place where you want very decent sound. This is a great purchase I made and I am highly recommending it to anyone. ... show more
