The COSORI Food Dehydrator for Jerky is hands down one of the best kitchen appliances I’ve purchased in a while. I primarily use it to make dog treats, and it works flawlessly every time. The 176°F temperature control ensures that the treats are dehydrated perfectly, and the 5 stainless steel trays provide plenty of space for all the ingredients I need to dry. Whether I’m making meat jerky, fruit slices, or veggies, it handles everything with ease. I got this yesterday and in less then 20 hours I had jerky and the jerky is damn near perfect. I bought the meat two days before and used pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and a little bit of soy sauce. I was at first a little taken back by how compact the device is. But I put the meat on the trays and it was my first effort ever at making jerky. I put it on 130° for 12 and a half hours, when I got up this morning it was done, it wasn't overly dry, and it tastes wonderful. This is not a large unit, but it does have five trays I think, and I did at least a pound and a half of meat. And I did not slice it cut very thick, it came from the store sliced for fajitas. I am absolutely impressed by the quality and functionality. Today I'm going to do crispy brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts turned out really good but they took a very long time to fully dry. If you're looking for a dehydrator this is a great one ... show more

I love this COSORI 5-rack stainless steel food dehydrator! It's very well made and is quiet, just the white noise of a fan running. The stainless steel racks are high quality and easy to clean after use. The fan at the back of the unit ensures the contents are evenly dehydrated! There is no need to shift racks from the top rack to the bottom as in some others. It's just the right size for my needs. I've made jerky from meats already thinly sliced from the grocery store. I can put 'clean' seasonings on the jerky and know what I'm getting! The jerky comes out perfect every time using the pre-set jerky setting. I'll soon get a return on my money by not buying expensive jerky or meat chips online! No, I do not work for the company, I just love this food dehydrator! ... show more
