  • Great ergonomic chair for price
Size: 1 pack-With headrest Color: Black-fabric
Left my old gaming chair for a soft ergonomic chair. I’m not too picky but definitely more comfortable than the cheap foam and leather from regular gaming chairs. I’m 5’10 and 250lbs and I sit very comfortable and the chair adjusts to my body perfectly. The bottom seat cushion has not flattened or caved in through many months of use with no uncomfortable corners or hard points. Armrests move up and down, and side to side but not forward and back. Chair feels very sturdy, I’m able to lean back at its maximum angle without fear of falling down. Assembly was easy, only a needed a few screws and a hex tool that all comes with the chair. Packaging is large with a bunch of cardboard waste so make sure to recycle correctly or find a place to dispose of it. ... show more

  • Ergonomic Goes Economy
Size: 1 pack-With headrest Color: Grey-fabric
Title: "The Clatina Mellet: Where Comfort Meets Concern" Step into the world of ergonomic luxury with the Clatina Mellet Ergonomic Chair with Headrest. It's a throne of relaxation, but not without a few quirks that keep you on your toes. Let's start with the headrest – it's not just a cushion; it's a sanctuary for your weary noggin. Adjustable to suit your height, it's like a soft cloud beckoning you to rest your head and let your worries drift away. Now, onto the lumbar support. Here's where things get interesting. While the intention is there, the execution falls short. The back support has a tendency to pop out unexpectedly, like a jack-in-the-box with a mischievous streak. It's a concerning quirk that might leave you feeling like you're playing a game of ergonomic whack-a-mole. But fear not, because the Clatina Mellet makes up for its shortcomings with its versatility. With adjustable armrests and reclining options that rival a luxury vehicle, it's the Swiss Army Knife of office chairs, ready to adapt to your every need. And let's not forget about style. Sleek and modern, the Mellet adds a touch of sophistication to any workspace, turning heads and sparking envy among your colleagues. In conclusion, while the Clatina Mellet Ergonomic Chair with Headrest offers unparalleled comfort and style, it's not without its very minor quirks. The unpredictable nature of the back support may give you pause, but if you're willing to overlook this minor flaw, you'll find yourself sitting pretty in ergonomic bliss. ... show more

  • Solid chair, will work for shorter people, leans way back!
UPDATE AFTER 1.5 YEARS: I added a star, making my rating 5 stars instead of 4. This chair is working as well as the day I put it together. Nothing is starting to rattle, fall apart, squeak, loosen, sag, rip etc. It's exactly how it was a year and a half ago when I got it. And I sit in it for hours daily. Rock solid. Original review: I've owned and have used this chair for about 3 weeks now. Overall, it's a very well made and comfortable chair. I would say the very few issues I have are minor. It seems quite solidly made and feels assuredly sturdy to sit in. There are no squeaks or flimsy parts or anything that seems like it's likely to break anytime soon. The seat cushion chassis is made of metal, not plastic. That's reassuring. I'll run through some specifics: - The plastic parts are made of notably tough, well-made, quality plastic - The mesh feels well made, durable and comfortable. - The seat cushion material is equally durable. And most importantly, the seat itself is comfortable. I appreciate the 'waterfall' edge which is comfortable for your thighs. Its ability to slide back or forward helps lock in the best position. - The adjustable lumbar support moves easily and gives you subtle but noticeable support for your lower back - The headrest (which FYI comes in a separate shipment!) is solid and comfortable. My only complaint is that it seems a tad too easy to rotate. I wish there was more resistance, or that you could lock its position. If you rotate it out and lean your head into it with much force, it will push the headrest back. - The armrest adjustments are very helpful. My complaint with them is that they are very firm. Your elbows might feel a little tender at the end of the day. - The chair can lean very far back. I love this! Especially with the headrest, you can definitely kick back. My only very minor complaint here is that I wish you could adjust the resistance for leaning back to even less than the lowest setting allows. I've rotated the knob all the way open, and it's still just a tad too much resistance to lean back. Minor quibble - This chair will work great for shorter people. I'm 5'6" and even at its highest, it doesn't seem all that high. At its lowest, my feet are squarely on the ground. I'm actually a little surprised by this. If I was 6' or so, would this chair be too short? After 3 weeks use, I really have no complaints. I've never owned a really expensive chair and wonder if they're worth 5x the cost? This one seems totally solid and high quality. I also bought the Clatina rollerblade style wheels to replace the stock casters. They're super smooth and raise the chair by a little bit overall. Recommended, especially if you're on carpet. One note on assembly - like others have mentioned, I did find the seat back assembly a bit difficult. You are required to slide the seat back into two pieces of plastic connected to each armrest. The trick is to slide each side in equally and at the same time. It's a very tight fit. If you slide in one side more than the other, it will probably be impossible to fully slide in. Even doing it my way, it was almost impossible at the end. Thankfully I was able to get the seat back slid in almost all the way, and then the screws used to secure it also worked to pull the seat back all the way in. ... show more

  • Longer Term Thoughts: Goofy name aside, this chair is great and has held up well after two years!
Some thoughts: - The mesh on the back of the chair seems to... shave (?) my shirt as after a few weeks of usage a lot of dust collects in the cavity in the back. It's not a big deal and can be vacuumed out easily. - I really appreciate the adjustability and comfortability of this chair for the price. I can sit in it working for long hours and be totally fine. - Sometimes I worry about the head rest only being held on by one screw, but it has been more than solid and I have had no issues after a these couple of years. - I enjoy that I can remove the lumbar support bar. I found that the bar was a bit too intrusive and the support that the mesh has without the bar is more than enough and comfortable. - I wish I could move the arms completely out of the way as I did with a previous chair of mine, but I would consider this a small downside for my use case. - The mechanism to lock how far back the chair can recline is easy to use and I love that you can choose from multiple positions. - My chair started to squeak pretty bad after about a year but was easily fixed with some WD40. - If you are rolling on carpet, I extremely highly recommend some better, thicker rubber casters. It will save you so much annoyance. - Granted I don't abuse the chair, but overall the build quality seems very solid with the metal base and thick plastic elsewhere. - The cushion is still very comfortable after all this time and I don't feel like I'm bottoming out at all like with other cheap cushions. It still feels thick and support my weight well. I weigh about average for an adult male. ... show more
