This is one of the best investment I made for my home office. I can immedietely tell y that it’s designed to handle long-term, heavy use. The base is sturdy and doesn’t wobble- thanks for the fact that is made of the steel. The leather is surprisingly comfortable. I was a bit skeptical at first, wondering if it would hold up over time, but so far, the material has resisted scratches, scuffs, and creases. It still looks as good as the day I got it. The stitching is done really well, too—there are no loose threads or signs of wear. The padding is thick and supportive, providing just the right balance between firmness and cushioning. The seat is wide and spacious, perfect for heavy weight. The backrest contours to spine nicely, offering excellent lumbar support. The tilt and recline features are also smooth, allowing to lean back and relax when I need a break without feeling unstable. Honestly I would not buy another brand once I have this. ... show more

    • 6'0 265lb, not a chair for heavy people

I couldn't find the chair arms, so I took it apart and started returned it, but the support group told me they were inside the chair back. They were good enough to do a partial refund for all my trouble, which is nice. However it shows part of the problem, there is no padding in the chair, it uses straps for back support like a pool lounge since the back of the chair is hollowed out to make shipping room for the arms. The inflatable back support is mounted in a way that the top of the wooden plate is angle into your back. I had to go into the back of the chair, cut through the lining and remove the whole mounting device otherwise it felt like a metal bar across my lower back. While I was there, I took an unused pillow and filled the void of the back of the chair, it's a good start I'll keep working on it. The seat is nothing great I'll probably go in and add padding to it as well. It's a rather standard chair with a high back, for my height the arm rests are too low, too short, half my arm and hands just dangle off in the air. Max height of the chair is okay, I wouldn't want to sit any lower. Unfortunately, I need a chair and I'm not going through the hassle of taking it apart and packing it back, again. It also came out cheap enough I'll just modify it as much as I can and see if I can pawn it off on a family member who is shorter and lighter. ... show more

I am a big man, and was a little apprehensive about purchasing this chair. I work from home full time. That means I'm sitting in this chair for 8+ hours Monday-Friday. Over the past two weeks I have noticed that my back is feeling better after moving from what I thought was a comfortable chair to this one. It was very easy and quick to assemble. This chair was NOT easy to put together. The holes don't line up on the seat cushions to the arm rests. It took a lot of wrestling to get everything to fit. I could've used a second person for this which I recommend. The chair is comfortable so far, but the reclining mechanism is a poor design as it is located under the seat. The only way to get to it is to climb under the chair and twist the (very tight) knob. Most chairs have the reclining feature within arms reach. Overall, for the price, I think it's worth it so far. I hope it lasts and doesn't breakdown. Given I will spend 10-12 hours a day in it, I assume I will find that out quickly. With all of that said I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more
