I purchased these tags after being totally disappointed with another similar product that also claimed to be for stamping or engraving. The other tags were impossible to stamp on or engrave on so my expectations were set pretty low at this point. However; I was pleasantly pleased with how well these tags engraved on and stamped on. I have a cricut engraving tool which is what I have used these tags with most frequently and they have turned out beautifully. Overall this is a great quality tag and works well for what I needed! The lightweight, aluminum pendants came individually packaged to reduce scratching in transit. Each 1" disc has a smooth black surface ready for engraving or stamping. I was able to use my Cricut Maker, set to Aluminum Sheeting material on the Default pressure setting, to cleanly engrave the word "love" with a Cricut font. These rounds required a couple more strikes of the hammer when stamping the discs than other aluminum objects that I have stamped in the past. Quality round blanks that I'd order again. ... show more

    • Great for Laser Engraving

These are perfect for laser engraving. Uses are many, dog ID disccs luggage tags, key rings, fan art and so on. Perfect size, the black coating is easily burned off with a 10W laser. I then wipe of the engraved disk with some color and spray them with a clear coat to seal.

I admit it...it's my fault for not actually looking at a ruler before ordering, but these things are really small. I got them to engrave with my Cricut Maker and they were so small, that I couldn't get them engraved because there was no room for error. Ultimately I returned them and got bigger ones.
