I live in rural Hawaii and when the fruits come in, they come in heavy. I get too much to eat all at once, so we dehydrate a tom of food. I used to use only the fine wire racks which came with the machine, but these have opened a whole new world for me. The fine mess ones are a lot easier to clean than the wire racks, and they are much easier to remove the dried fruit. The trays for "fruit leather" are great for really soft fruits or combo fruits. For instance, pureeing bananas and mangoes, then spread it out on the trays to make "roll-up" fruit treats is very easy. I just love these. ... show more
