The customer service is excellent as they contacted me and told me the proper way and even after I assembled it, installing the seatback properly was super easy to assemble. I’m pleasantly surprised the arms are made of solid wood and the seatback with the rattan backseat is a vintage & classy. You can actually see the wood grain - it’s a light matte finish wood. This chair seems to be very well made and is aesthetically pleasing! Funny story, I accidentally installed the back of the chair incorrectly. I then submitted a review (this review which I’m updating as we speak) outlining my surprise as to how short the back was, and included photos. Very soon after, I received an email from the seller that very kindly explained I’d installed the back incorrectly 🙄 and proceeded to provide direction so that I could correct it! I responded and asked as to what size the wrench was that came in the original assembly kit so that I can get a replacement, and they responded to that very quickly as well! My lack of know how aside, I was shocked at the level of care and customer service provided. I'm very pleased with this chair. It was easy to assemble, comes in an easy to handle box for shipping and is comfortable. The padding for the seat is thick and gets better as you sit more. The dark green faux leather is even nicer in person. Not too shiny, but looks luxurious. The rattan backrest provides nice support, but not if you want a cushioned support obviously. ... show more

The overall color didn’t match the rest of the room I purchased it for. However, the construction was fantastic and the color was beautiful. It didn’t fully take it out of the box, I will admit, but from what I saw it seemed fairly easy to assemble.
