I was hoping for a matte finish to cut down on the reflection/glare but I found the other qualities make up for it. The photo shows that there is an opening at the top and the bottom of the screen. However, there is really only one opening very small at the top. The screen is crystal clear. And when I was using it on my iPad last night, It did seem to ease the eye strain that I’ve experienced. Not sure if I’m going to return it or not. I was able to do facial recognition with it however sometimes it wouldn’t work, and that could be user error. It’s very hard to photograph the screen because it’s so shiny and dark. And I couldn’t figure out how to upload an image from my phone- or edit this one. If you can enlarge the image, I’m sure it would be clearer for you. I initially wrote a poor review as I had thought the quality control had produced a product misaligned for the iPad. The notch the top at first glance makes you think it is covering the camera lens unintentionally, hence the poor QC, however upon further insight and inspection, I realized the notch is purposely over the Face ID sensor, just to the right of the camera, so it was intentional. It is costly and stiff. Either it was warped or my iPad is bent. I could never get the bubbles out. I bought this in the USA and then travelled to Japan. I replaced it with a $11 screen that fit my 12" iPad Pro without bubbling, which I got on Amazon in Japan. I threw this one in the garbage because it was annoying. You only get one of these things with your order. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, although if I'd been in the USA, I could have contacted the seller and maybe got a new one as I have to suppose mine was defective, or I installed it wrong. I've installed several screen covers and never had this problem, however. My cheaper screen cover is just fine, though, and installed without any problem. ... show more
