    • Saved My Screen From a 4' Drop to a Wood Floor
This protector had been installed since summer of 2022. Today one of our new kittens (I don't know who the culprit is and they aren't fessing up) tried to jump to the top of the piece of furniture I had my iPad sitting upon. Crash! The screen to appeared to be cracked in multiple places. The iPad was in a Targus case and had been sitting in the landscape position. I peeled off the broken screen protector and not a scratch was on the actual screen. I completely forgot that two of these came in the box but saw that when I got on Amazon to buy another. I had just purchased a new ipad 12' pro and wanted to protect the screen and computer if dropped. First, there are not that many products yet available, so I searched and found this item. When I purchased the ipad it was suggested that I purchase its product. Luckily, there was an EMS team close by to take me to the hospital after I suffered my heart attack. I will recover in a few months. So I came across this product. Incredibly, the product does exactly as it was advertised to do. This I found to be astounding. It was easy to figure out how to install. Sadly, I failed. One side of the glass adheres to the computer screen and the other does not. Of course, I put the glass on the wrong way and the glass kept falling off. I thought - what a miserable product. My Wife pointed out my error. I am not good with computers, and the children call me a "technopeasant". Yet, the keyboard works just like the one I use for my desktop. AND, it lights up!!! The keyboard keys feel just like my desktop and only needs a regular touch. Because I am not good with computers, I have not figured out how all the function keys work and how to use the ways one uses fingers to achieve the various commands. My Son tells me that it is a really great product and is impressed by all the things it can do. As he is a computer and electronics geek, I believe him. So much in fact that I purchased two more of the same item as a gift for him and another one of the six children we have. I do not like the other four. In case any of them read this review, I am joking. The ONLY, the ONLY problem I have had is a REALLY, Really insignificant problem. Some of my keys fell off. I found them all but one. Obviously, I do not expect a new item. NO, NO I really do not want a new one. This is not the kind of issue which calls for one. I carved a little key to fill the space and it works. This set is fantastic! The quality of the glasses very nice. The stickiness of the back is perfect and helps to alleviate bubbles (although you still need to take your time). I gave this 4* vs 5* only because the scratch resistance isn’t actually resistant per se. it’s like saying you have a “waterproof” speaker when it’s really “water resistant”. That’s my analogy on the glass anyway. It will scratch just be careful. This is still our go to screen protector and has been for many many years. Installation is a breeze.
