Previously, I had owned the “name brand” version of this screen protector by Paperlike. Frankly, I’ve found that this brand’s option feels closer to true paper while also being 1/5 of the price. It was easy to apply, though I did leave 1-2 very small bubbles. Normally, this would bother me and warrant a reapplication, but the material that these are made out of makes it easier for me to ignore the imperfection — especially considering the lower price (it’s hard to justify any imperfection when the product is $45+, as is the case with the aforementioned “name brand”). I would highly recommend this screen protector to anyone using their iPad for reading and writing: it comes at a great price, causes much less fingerprints than the glass screen, and adds just enough friction to retain a “normal” feel when writing. ... show more

    • Best paperfeel iPad screen protector!
One of the biggest pains about screen protectors is putting them on and making sure that they’re aligned well and with as little bubble pockets as possible. This screen protector takes that pain away! It’s super easy to apply this screen protector. The protector itself has a really nice feel. It’s got a great touch with scrolling, which I do a lot because I use my iPad to read for hours at a time. It also has a great feel when I’m writing with my Apple Pencil on it. My only qualm is that it scratches pretty easily and scratches show up very starkly on it. If there were some way to make the protector more durable so that you didn’t have to change it out frequently due to scratches, that would be great. ... show more

    • Best Transition Ever (Coming from a Glass Screen Protector)
I've been holding off on writing my review until I fully used it. I didn't have issues installing it or rather the person who helped me didn't have issues. As a matter of fact it was relatively easy. He didnt need to use the second one. I guess its because he's used to applying screen protectors. Anyways, after a almost a full semester of constant use, I can confidently say that this screen protector is really good. I am a university student and use my ipad to take notes and draw in my free time. The texture is not that gritty as most people complain about. The texture is not like sand paper in which will shave down your apple pencil. I bought around the first week of September and my tip is still in tact. I have been using my ipad to take notes in my classes after multiple uses, I have yet to change my apple tip. I think people complain about the wear of their tip because of how hard they write on their ipad. I for one tend to put more pressure when writing but even so, I have not seen my tip wear down. I will say that the glare is noticeable, but since I don't edit photos or videos it doesn't really bug me. I have yet to test it out on drawing but based on notes, I think it won't be any different. There are two downsides to this screen protector. The first one is that if you put your hand on top of your screen, sometimes it wont detect the pencil causing me to miss important things from my lectures. I guess it has to do with the fact that the screen is matte and much more thinner idk. Another issue is that basically coverage wise, I have to be EXTREMELY careful and cautious on my ipad. Because its matte and thinner, I have a higher risk in breaking my ipad screen. However it was a risk I was willing to take. I come from using a glass screen protector, but the glass one wouldn't detect my writing or it was wobbly and never straight. To combat this disadvantage, I bought a folio screen (the ones that study tik tokers use thats trifold.) and I also bought a thick padded case to carry my ipad. Also I try to keep my desk clear so that way I don't drop it or hit it by mistake (I'm pretty clumsy). Hopefully I dont jinx it lol. Anyways for the price, if you are willing to risk the protection and dont mind the hand issue, go for it. Its way cheaper than paperlike screen protector. The media could not be loaded. First off, I love the tactile feel of paper on my iPad Pro after installing the screen protector. I take a lot of hand written notes, and I dabble in drawing portraits of dogs. With the screen protector you get the sound and feel of writing on paper with a pencil. Fortunately this package came with two screen protectors. Unfortunately I had to use both to have it installed to my liking. I have used multiple screen protectors between my phone and iPad, this has been one of the more difficult ones to instal. It’s challenging to line up the screen protector, even with help of the placement stickers. It’s also difficult to ensure there aren’t too many air bubbles, but they are easy to remove with the scraper provided. I also thought the mats provided were smart and useful to keep the tablet in place while installing. I would buy again, but would love to see an easier installment option, maybe something like the phone screen protector kits that fit the device in a case to ensure accurate placement. ... show more

    • Great natural feel
Feels very natural and a pleasure to write on. It’s not obtrusive and easy to apply bubble free as well as creating a non-glare surface. It will rub through your pencil tip much faster than without one on, but there are great options available to get replacement tips. It feels thick but not unpleasantly thick, fits edge to edge without any awkward gaps and without obstructing a case. It’s proven to be durable (I was unknowingly using a pen with the protective tip runs away completely for a few weeks and there were no scratches). Very easy to wipe clean. I love that it helps prevent fingerprints as well. I will definitely purchase again in the future ... show more
