I wanted a screen protector that mimicked the paper feel but most of them that I read about when I was researching had issues with installation, texture rubbing off, too much refraction, etc. This one seems to be the perfect balance. Yes, it is a matte screen protector so you will get some of that "look" to it when you look at the screen. But it is wonderful for anti-glare and after a few days you don't even notice it. But if you are an artist and use any type of iPad drawing at all, YOU NEED THIS! It feels like paper, the texture is just enough, and it stays really well! I push harder than I should on my Apple Pencil and after over a month of constant use, this screen protector looks brand new! I love the feel of it... makes everything more intuitive to drawing on actual paper. You can adjust your pencil settings to make it feel "just right" for you (which I did and I highly recommend doing that!). Just take your time when you install it, use the dust tape to remove all the dust you can. And then leave it alone for several hours after you install and any tiny air bubbles that you couldn't get out with the great padded card they have included, they will disappear on their own. Easy peasy!! This is definitely worth the money and time to install... just get it! ... show more

I was a little skeptical of this screen protector because it was way cheaper than some other brands, but the reviews seem great, so I decided to try it. I am really impressed with the way it feels when I draw with the Apple pencil. It’s got a little more “bite” than the other brand, which I like, and at the fraction of the price, and it has two screen protectors in the box. There’s a slight “stick” at the end of a stroke if you put enough pressure on the pencil, sort of like how an eraser would feel on paper, but I dig that, too! The whole reason people get these “paper feeling” screens is because the pencil slips on the naked iPad screen, making it difficult to have full control of the pencil tip. This screen gives me full control of my strokes. No finger smudges, less glare, the screen feels great to the touch. If you got the iPad for taking notes and/or drawing, this is an amazing product that is (finally) asking for a fair price! No need to pay more. Update after 1 week use After drawing on it for a while, I realize it feels like I’m drawing with crayons on paper, rather than pencil on paper. I guess that’s a preference thing, but I do miss the crisp feeling of the other brand. I hope that helps! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using any iPad screen protector. I wanted to use for at least a month before leaving a review. It was absolutely awesome not feeling like Bambi on ice. The grit is just enough where I have control. The quality of my screen doesn’t bother me much. It does reduce the sharpness but it’s what ever. I know my actual art looks crispy once it’s on a different screen. There’s so air bubbles but again it doesn’t really affect my drawing process. Pretty simple to instal . It sticks well, and the size is perfect for my 12.9 iPad. The nib didn’t wear down yet but they are pretty cheap to get. So I’m not worried about that too much. There’s no really scratches on the screen. Just light fingerprinting and little lines that appear to wipe off if you take a dry microfiber cloth to it. I enjoy it as a first timer. ... show more

It is rough to install, even as someone who considers themselves pretty good at installing screen covers. It's flimsy and fills the entire screen, so best to line it up with one edge and have the sticker for lint packing up pieces. With one edge does, keep your finger spreading the screen and you lay down the rest of it. I had to raise the screen to get some lint and bubbles with a razer blade. It also is abrasive, if you scratch your finger nail on it, you can see it filing and making a mark. So I'll keep watch no the nibs if they wear down. It made any scratches on the screen invisible so that's a plus too! ... show more
