  • Well Hair Color info
Color: 4A Med Ash Brown
The Wella Hair Color is a little lighter than the picture and just FYI it is a lot thinner than the dye that comes in the tubes. I would suggest that you add the solution that makes it gloss to gel. Also, my hair is 3 inches longer than my shoulders and Inused two containers for all over color.

  • Cowboy copper
Color: 6RG Light Copper
I have dark brown hair (with previous red box dye over it) and I used Wella 6R and 6RG/544 to achieve a cowboy copper. I didn’t want to use bleach on my hair so I used 20 vol Wella Developer and it did lift really well! Maybe not as light, but I love it! It does have a strong odor once opened so ensure you color your hair in a vented area. My hair feels soft. The color is much brighter in the sunlight. The small bottles are perfect for small developer bottles depending how long your hair is. So much cheaper than getting your hair professionally done. Super easy to do with a 2:1 ratio with developer. I love Wella products! ... show more

  • I love it, no complaints
Color: 9N Very Light Blonde
It’s taken me years of resisting cute trendy haircuts to get to this hair length so I wanted to pop the blonde again with something that didn’t fry my hair. I’ve used the lightest blonde color here and I adore the end result. It gives me a multifaceted blonde that’s both cohesive and rich, I think. I’ve found that leaving the mixture on for 15 minutes less than the recommended time still gives me the rich color but greatly reduces damage done to my hair. Fewer split ends is always a good thing. ... show more

  • My go to color Wella 9 G
Color: 9G Soft Gold Blonde
I been using Wella forever now. I recently switched from 9NG to 9G for the summer . It’s a great golden blonde . Wella color is one of the best choices imho to get reliable gray coverage and color longevity. I am so happy to have found it on Amazon !

  • Smells AWFUL but works great
Color: 50 Cooling violet
I want to start with this smells horrible. Definitely wouldn't have purchased if I knew it was going to smell like Garnier box color. But it did a great job and these pics don't do it justice and make it look much more golden than it dies in person. I mixed T19 (1/2 bottle), T14 (1/2 bottle) and 050 (3 capfuls) which added up to 50ml with 100ml of wella 20 vol developer. Double cleansed my hair, towel dried and brushed out, then applied and left sit for 15 mins after application was done (took about 5-10 mins). Rinsed and washed my hair as normal afterwards. The only thing I would do differently next time is add another cap of 050, I was nervous it would get too dark based on reviews of the 050. ... show more

  • Works on bleached and colored hair
Color: 6A Dark Smokey Ash Blonde
So in the first picture i have the bottom half of my hair with black box dye from like a year or 2 ago and the top half is bleached and dyed with semi permanent color which lasts longer than permanent on bleached hair. I used shade 6A on the top half of my hair and what i had left over i mixed with 4NW for the bottom half. This product does not claim to lighten dyed hair at all so i was concerned about that but i think it did pretty well. You can see the line of untouched roots, its very obvious, it doesnt look the same. The bottom half of box dyed hair definitely looks the same. Over all 6A was not ashy or even blonde in my opinion, even on the virgin roots. It did wash out super easy but my hair also felt STRIPPED more so than with other dyes. I used a hair mask and its mostly fine now. I have no idea what to do about the roots. ... show more
