Wow I’m impressed how much tech is put into this kids toy! I got this for my 6 year old niece and now I'm wanting an adult version for myself haha. The scooter has some pretty good acceleration so definitely have your child wearing their safety gear, but it’s quite intuitive and tells you your speed. This feedback is great for kids to learn what different velocities feel like and how to control speed limits. I haven’t drained the battery to test its life, but it charged up quite quick and has a neat little stand to keep it upright. The lights on the deck are bright and colorful and the bluetooth speaker is much louder than expected. My niece is going to be the coolest kid on the block for sure lol I’d definitely recommend if you have the means! ... show more

    • A Little Tricky to Operate

The speed is good, and I finally figured out that you have to start the momentum with a kick off before it kicks in the speed. Makes sense and is a good safety measure since at least one foot will be on the scooter before it launches. Turning it on and off is through a little silver button on the front part of the foot board that must be held down for 3 seconds. The voice that comes on it is pretty loud, which I don't believe there to be a volume control. I can only imagine the sound when wifi is connected if it's as loud as I feel like it is. Perhaps it's just loud over it since it's so close, and won't be to passerbyers. The lights on the foot board are very nice and bright, and the hand control buttons that you push down to operate seem to be simple to use. The main stand part has two screws that must be screwed in, and no matter how many times I aligned and realigned, one never will screw all the way in ( top one ). I tried different screws, screwing that one before the bottom, didn't matter it wouldn't stay in. Hopefully the pole is secure with just one screw, seems to be, but I'm not 100% certain. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This scooter has some great things about it...and some not so great things. - The manual is ridiculous. It took way too long to figure out that the instructions were as they don't seem like they're for this model of scooter. - The bluetooth is easy to use and loud. The kid loves that feature. - Base is solid. - The brakes are nice for my safety conscious kid. - Be aware that you can't adjust the height of the T bar. - The lights are a fun addition. The front lamp is more powerful than you'd expect. - It takes an overnight charge to really be at it's best, but does run for a good long time! - The tires are wider than normal, this makes it easier for kids to balance. - Much like the Segway based scooters, you have to push off to get going. This is not mentioned in the manual. So if you're not used to it, you might think the scooter is dead. It's not, just push off. - While this is working great now, I do wonder how long it will last. My main concern is that the plastic is very ridgid, and for a kid's scooter that can be an issue. Kids wreck, and ridgid plastic is normally a hazard. - Great scooter for the price, but do wish the manual was better. A lot of things about this scooter we just had to figure out on our own because the manual didn't mention certain features. ... show more

This scooter requires retightening of the bolts every few charges. It’s a decent starter scooter for the kids that isn’t too expensive. It teaches them to treat their things nicely before splurging for a nicer one. This scooter does go decently fast for a young kid. The Bluetooth works pretty good and is easy to connect. This electric scooter has been a fun item for my 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. In the instruction manual it says that this scooter works for up to a maximum of 150lbs so it works great for younger children and they are just the right size for it. They love the lights and the fact that they can sync their Spotify music to it from an iPhone or other bluetooth device. To be honest, the speakers on the scooter really surprised me. They are loud and clear. That was a nice surprise. The digital display on the scooter is great. The children love to be able to clearly see the battery life, speedometer, etc. It appears to be well built and durable so we will see how it holds up. The charger is easy for them to plug in and they can charge and run this all by themselves without needing any parental supervision. They only get about 10-15 minutes of play time each charge though so if you are getting this to use for longer runs or trips to friends houses etc, you may find that you run out of power in the middle or your trip or on the way. My children just use this in their driveway so it works fine for them. They take turns and when it runs out they charge it and give the other child a turn. The funniest surprise with this device is the voice that speaks to you and confirms when you get your bluetooth connected, it sounds very funny.
