The major decision the potential buyer needs to make is whether or not a shredded memory foam pillow is for them. If the answer is yes, then I can heartily endorse this product. When you compare this offering (in my case, two king size pillows for fifty bucks and change, pre-tax) to other major manufacturers, this is one of the most generous offerings available. Though at this early date I can't yet comment on durability, the outer, removable pillowcase appears very nicely made, including the nylon zipper, which operates smoothly thus far. The shredded memory foam is fresh and clean, without any visible contaminants. One of course will need to allow the foam to " air out", so that the inherent synthetic odor dissipates. What sets this pillow apart from the competition , in my opinion, is the exceedingly generous amount of shredded memory foam supplied, coupled with the ability to open the inner case and add or remove memory foam as desired. After allowing a few hours of time for expansion, it becomes evident that each pillow has arrived "stuffed to the gills" with shredded memory foam. There is, in addition, an extra bag of supplemental memory foam sent with each pillow. The option to add or remove memory foam is exceedingly important, because different people will require different degrees of loft, to supply a particular degree of support and positioning of head and cervical spine, for maximum comfort. As an example, in my own case, I have historically used a very thin, very hard pillow, because of a propensity for bulging cervical disks and consequent nerve root irritation. Particularly when lying supine (on my back), thick puffy pillows have historically elevated my head excessively, causing a flattening of the normal lordotic curve of the cervical spine, resulting in nerve root irritation, and next-day neck and shoulder pain. However, although a hard thin pillow has been helpful for me in that regard, it has been somewhat uncomfortable otherwise. I initially tried the pillow as delivered, filled to the brim with memory foam. Although very plush and initially comfortable, it had the aforementioned adverse effect on my head/neck position, with resulting pain in my neck. After removing a significant amount of shredded memory foam, I was able to shape the pillow for the exact configuration I needed (in my case, a prominent "pocket" of memory foam right beneath my neck, with a much thinner amount behind my head). As mentioned in my opening sentence above, the first decision to be made is whether or not a shredded memory foam pillow is right for you. If it is, then you will find an enormous latitude in ability to personalize this particular pillow, which I highly recommend. ... show more

These pillows came true to size as well as some extra foam for the pillows. The pillows are pretty thick, so I recommend only buying one set. They seem to be good quality thus far (two months) and do the job. I like my pillows a little on the firm side, but these are a little much. Good price for what you're getting. ... show more

I love this pillow and the price! It is firm but yet molds around my head. I do not have neck pain anymore. It did have a little factory smell, so I put it outside for the night (inside a case) and by morning the smell was gone. This definitely a great pillow!!

This pillow is so comfortable! Love that it is adjustable- it comes huge with so much foam and they give you extra just in case. I ended up removing a ton of the filling and it is perfect. It doesn’t flatten out overnight- it retains its shape well.

I wanted a pillow that I could rest against while reading in bed and be comfortable for sleeping. I achieved one of my goals in ordering these pillows- they are wonderful for resting against. I sleep on my back and find myself adjusting the pillow throughout the night. I fluff the pillows every day by shaking them and trying to readjust the filling. I don’t feel the filling adjusts very well. For the price I wish they were more comfortable. I added some of the extra filling to the one I don’t use for sleeping to add extra support. My wife's pillow was getting worn down and she worried that it affected her sleep. I searched for alternatives and found this set of shredded memory foam pillows. The pillows arrived vacuum sealed, rolled into a small tube-sized package. Once we opened the plastic the whole pillow inflated in about 30 minutes into a full firm pillow. One nice addition to the pillow was a vacuum sealed bag of additional stuffing, so you can add fill as the foam gets worn down over time. The pillow is a bit on the firm side, but by removing some of the stuffing we were able to customize the fit to my wife's preferences. In the past we have purchased pillows only to have them be too firm or too soft--with this pillow we can adjust until the loft is perfect. The construction on this pillow seems very sturdy, with the filling in an inner zippered case inside the outer zippered case (the picture attached shows both cases being unzipped). It is easy to add/remove stuffing, and the double zippers means the stuffing stays inside the pillow. We only needed the one pillow right now, so we put the second one and both bags of added fill in the closet until we need them. The packaging is great because the unused pillow is not taking up a lot of room and will stay clean until someone in the house needs a new pillow. We are very happy with this pillow! ... show more
