The first pillows were soft but supportive— I slept so well that I quickly ordered another set. The second set weren’t bad, they just weren’t as good as the first set. We have several tiny cabins we rent. This is the product we went with. Everyone that has stayed with us have made comments on how comfortable the beds are. Yes, mattresses are very important but pillows are just as essential. It's also hard to find a pillow that appeals to multiple people. After our initial purchase we decided to outfit each cabin with these pillows. That means about 20 in total (4 per bed). They are of medium firmness. It's not difficult to fold over for those that sleep on their sides. I mean, it's not folding in half obviously, but not so firm it is what it is and not flexible. Nice and fluffy. They are soft but not flat with no support. Perfect for side & back sleepers. Also for hot sleepers, they seem to remain on the cooler side so no flipping pillow over & over during the night.
