I love these all in one dryers because, more than anything, they give you that extra hand you've always wished you had with traditional blow dryers. Because if you're hold the dryer in one hand and the brush in the other, you're really limited, especially in hard to reach areas. So in general this style of dryer is an upgrade over the old design, though some are better than others. I've tested several in this overall design type and I think this is my favorite so far. There were two I really liked before for different reasons so kept switching back and forth between them but this has outpaced them both. Of the two, one I really liked because it dried faster than the other, but the air kind of blew out of the brush randomly and created more frizz. The second produced smoother results but it took more time to dry. The second also had more attachments while the first only had the oval brush that couldn't be removed. The Tymo seems to have combined the positives from both into one device. First it dries fast. There are 3 speeds and three heat settings, all that can be used independently of one another. And even on the highest speed, the shorter hairs (mine is longer) don't blow upward as much creating that frizz effect. So the final look is smoother. It also has a couple of attachments, including one for just blow drying as you would with a traditional blower. Which is good to have especially if your hair is thicker and/or you just want to dry at the roots. It also has the volumizer/curler oval brush, as well as a slightly curved paddle brush for straightening and smoothing. My only constructive criticism is that it could use a smaller round brush attachment as one of the devices I've been using also had that and I did use it from time to time. Also I find that it is pretty loud. Or not so much loud but the sound is kind of high pitched so that my ears were actually ringing a little bit afterwards. I hope this won't continue as I really do love this dryer and am hoping I can put the other two away. Everything was self-explanatory and was ready to use upon arrival (just select a head and click it in). It works great, is quiet, and has so many settings like hot/cold, different heat, and intensity of the blower. It leaves my hair looking shiny and less frizzy every single time. The only issue with this is that it gets hot. The manual did caution this but it gets so hot to the point where I'm weary of using it on the highest heat setting (I normally only do the lowest two). Additionally, even on the highest fan setting, if you're using this to dry your hair, it takes significantly longer compared to your usual hairdryer. ... show more

Everyone has numbers to describe their hair. I don't know mine, but my hair looks like Nicole Kidman's when she wears it naturally. Very curly/frizzy/wavy, I don't know what it's called, but it is stubborn! This is the third dryer brush I have tried and I found the other two unsatisfying. They were too hard to hold and did not tame my mass of curls, largely because they did not get hot enought, they did not provide enough tension to really pull the curl out, and/or the brush was too unwieldy. I feel like I finally hit the jackpot on this one. Listen up girls with curls! Set this to lowest speed for the fan, highest heat, and put the half brush on. You will get the tension with the half brush (and your other hand is free to keep things where they are supposed to be, the heat we know we need, and either the design of the half brush or the bristles gives some tension (not pulling my hair or hurting, normal tension we always use) and suddenly, smooth hair. Of course I use heat protectant. The brush is still big and the handle is a little big for my hand, but this gem gets the job done with ONE tool. I am so tired of a brush, a brush, a comb, and a curling iron or a flat iron. If only this could be made dual voltage... Oh well, I'm happy I have it for home in the USA. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This brush does have a lot of nice features but it almost feels like it's clunky in the design. It's not the easiest brush to maneuver with the cord and I find that it's harder to get my hair done correctly because of the addition of the heat on it. This could work for someone with shorter hair but for longer hair it's just difficult to use. It is a nice brush and it is made well but overall it's not great for long hair ... show more

I know these blowout dryers are mainly marketed to people with curly or wavy hair who want to do a smooth blow out, but I have found that it works just great on my thin, fine, straight hair to give a lot of extra body and smoothness. Very easy to use, and very adjustable. You can choose between several heat settings as well as several air blower setting to get just the effect or results you want. I flip my head upside down and blow dry on low air, high heat. The motor is a little loud, but no more so than a lot of hair dryers. This Hair Blow Dryer came well packaged in a sturdy box. The box includes a host, 3 different attachments, and an instruction. I wish there would be some styling tips included as well. Everything looks nice and solid. The attachments are easy to install and replace when needed. There are different modes and temperature settings available and also a cool shot feature. All the buttons are conveniently placed on the host and easy to rich. Overall, it is a nice device to make my hair styled quickly and easily at home. I love this. I used the half round brush attachment and it dried my hair in about 10 minutes (usually takes 20-30 with other ones). I was amazed at how my hair was so soft and mostly straight afterwards. It was also very shiny. I would recommend this product.
