This is my first review on a product bought from Amazon, but this hair straightening comb deserves it. I have thick natural curly light brown hair that goes to the middle of my back. I have tried every flat iron, straightening brush, hair dryer, and brush out there. I watched the videos and saw this and thought we’ll shoot why not give it a try. It’s not expensive when related to some of the items I have bought. Most recently a 250 BayBliss flight iron. Which I will never use again. This comb worked! It was so easy and I can get the back of my hair which usually still has some crazy waves going on. No matter how much I flatten it. I can do my entire head in ten mins and it is straight straight!!! Love love love this!!! You are gonna read oh the button placement this or the colors that or the size this! I read those too….however it works! I bought the black and pink and it was black and pink. This is a quick and easy way to style your hair. Bought it after seeing a multitude of videos on social media and thought it would be fun to have for my daughter who has extremely thick and long hair. The temperature gets pretty hot, use the glove and use heat protection spray. The clips and palm brush work well to detangle and separate the hair when doing it in sections. The indicator lights let you know when it’s ready I like that feature. Gets close to scalp but not too close with the heat.

I have thick hair so it takes awhile to get through. It has to constantly reheat while I’m using it. It’s easy to use and is better for my hand cramps compared to regular straighteners.

I am on a natural hair journey currently and used to check the length of my hair. I have a lot of shrinkage with my natural hair and found it surprisingly easy to press out using the tymo. It did a great job of straightening with relatively little effort. I’m happy with this purchase

This straightening brush gets 3 stars for me. Likes: 1) Fast and easy to use. This definitely cuts down on the time it takes me to straighten my hair with a normal flat iron. I feel that my hair is shiner with this product and it feels less damaging. It’s comfortable to hold and heats up fast. 2) Comes with one heat glove, brush, and two hair clips. I think that’s a plus cause I am always burning my hand with my hot hair while holding it. Dislikes: 1) Doesn't show the temperature on the iron!! I only see lights to indicate the heat setting, but no panel to show how hot it really is. I understand that it’s in the manual, but I don’t want to have to refer to that everytime I need to know the temperature. I have to memorize that I need it to be on with 3 lights or 4 lights. 2) Doesn't straighten my ends in one pass. I would have to blow dry my ends prior to using this product or go over them with a regular iron. Other than that, the straightening ability is really good. Doesn’t work for me in one pass though I would say about 2-3. I have 3b hair. Very straight at the roots because my hair is weighed down, and curly at my ends. (also this product doesn’t straighten edges) Overall: I will keep this product and continue to use it. I think it’s very convenient and simple enough for anyone to use. I like how you can get super close to the scalp without burning yourself, it did straighten my hair more easily and quickly than a regular straightening iron, but not in under 10 minutes or super fast as advertised. I also like the comb and clips it comes with. Since it was fairly inexpensive, I'm curious to see how long it will last. ... show more
