I love this hair dryer. I had no idea I would like it so much. It doesn't get too hot. It's so well thought out, it's oval so it doesn't roll off the counter. The attachments pop on and off easily. You only need one hand to use it, brush not necessary. I don't even separate the hair... I think it's fun to let it pick up what hair it takes and when you're done you have a great hairstyle. My hair is about shoulder length. It always looks well styled, smooth and full. It's a hair dryer that's actually good for your hair. I bought the Airwrap as a Christmas gift for my wife. She was excited to try it bu was immediately disappointed to discover that some attachments would not fit the body of the device. Upon further investigation and a chat with Dyson support, I found several clues of a potentially counterfeit product. Beyond attachments that did not fit, there was a misaligned print near the On/Off switch. The "0" label is printed ever so slightly offcener to the right. (See the photo of my other purchase, Nural hairdryer for reference. My faulty Airwrap had the same misprint.) The authentic device I received from Dyson has perfect prints and all attachments fit, it's a good way to quickly check your purchase. Another thing that was different on the authentic item was the box seal. The product sent from Dyson had a custom tearaway seal (see pic); boxes from Amazon were taped with generic stickers. Not immediately a sign of a counterfeit, there could be differences in packaging. But given the cost, I'd rather be safe than sorry as Dyson does not service knockoff devices. ... show more

I’ve been using it for a few months now and figured out the tricks. Cons: 1. High price: I am not thrilled by the cost given how similar other less expensive tools produce similar results. 2. Large: it takes up a lot of physical space. 3. Damages hair. It may not be as damaging as the other hotter tools but it still will dry out your hair. I don’t typically style or color my hair so it is very natural. One week after using it daily, I’ve noticed my hair being more brittle. I would use oils in your hair to combat dehydration. Pros: 1.
