These cold socks were wonderful and worked perfectly. I wore them over a thin pair of men's dress socks as the ice packs are quite cold on bare skin. There are a few adjustments in the snugness you can make but you cannot walk while wearing. I purchased extra cold packs and kept in a cooler so I could change the cool packs the cold packs to last for the entire duration of the chemo treatment. CIPN is chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and can be a very painful side effect. Doctor never mentioned wearing the cold socks but I watched many videos suggesting cold socks. the concept is great and would provide good support and ice treatment to women that do not have very wide feet or too much swelling. I am dealing with pregnancy edema and for me personally It isn't quite wide enough but has plenty of extra length. For reference, my foot length is U.S. size 7 1/2 but width would require a 9 wide. I am currently wearing a U.S. men's size 7 wide. I hope someone finds this reference helpful. ... show more

So I have to admit that I was worried about the weight and didn’t end up actually taking mine, but my best friend did bring hers and I did use them while we were in Europe.     • Perfect for peripheral neuropathy
I have not found any medicine that effectively relieves the heat and pain of peripheral neuropathy in the soles of my feet. But ice works, at least temporarily. However, it is a hassle to get out a tub, fill it with ice, add water and then soak my feet. These cooling socks are perfect for me. They fit well and are extremely comfortable. I remove the gel packs for the heel and top of foot because I don't need them, just using the gel pack for the soles of the feet. I wear my own socks when I put these cooling socks on to keep them clean and to lessen a bit the strong cold. They help the pain a lot, so are perfect for me. The size fits for gym size 7.5-8.5 foot pending on the brand. It’s easy to use. The only thing I wish is that it covered my whole ankle as versus just the front and back.
