  • A kitchen essential!
Size: 12 Quart
I recently added this stock pot to my kitchen arsenal, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This stock pot has quickly become an essential tool in my cooking routine, and here’s why: First and foremost, the size of this stock pot is fantastic. It accommodates large quantities of liquid, making it ideal for preparing hearty soups, stews, and broths for gatherings or meal prepping. The sturdy construction ensures even heat distribution, preventing hot spots and allowing my dishes to simmer perfectly. The durable material and excellent craftsmanship are evident. It’s made to last, with a robust handle that stays cool to the touch, providing a secure grip even when the pot is full. The tight-fitting lid seals in flavors and moisture, resulting in incredibly flavorful and tender dishes. I appreciate the versatility of this stock pot. It’s not just for stocks and soups – I use it for boiling pasta, simmering sauces, and even for large-batch cooking like chili or curry. The generous capacity and reliable performance make it a versatile workhorse in my kitchen. Cleaning this stock pot is a breeze, thanks to its smooth surface and easy-to-clean interior. It’s also compatible with various stovetops, including gas, electric, and induction, adding to its convenience and usability. In summary, if you’re looking for a high-quality, spacious, and versatile stock pot that can handle your culinary adventures, this is the pot to get. Its durability, excellent heat distribution, and user-friendly features make it a must-have for every home cook. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this stock pot to anyone passionate about cooking. Thank you for providing such a reliable and top-notch kitchen essential! ... show more

  • Just about perfect!
Size: 20 quart
I liked the first one so much, I bought a second one! After using 2 of them for canning tomato sauce (processing the voluminous liquids), I decided I still need a 3rd one (2 for the front burners and 1 to use for straining tomatoes and such, so I can stay busy, while 2 pots cook-down). So, I'll soon have 3 of them, and they work... Oh, how they work! I pour contents from one to the other as I move the juice/sauce through the various stages of production. Very even heating across bottom. Nice pot-edge, so pouring from one pot to another is without any spills or drips. Measuring guides inside the pot, etched in metal. Size is as big as my sink can manage; Any larger and I'd not be able to wash it in the kitchen! So, perfect sizing! Further, it is as wide as I want, so it does not overhang the edge of the stove. Overhanging pot can super-heat your countertop, so you must avoid that. Just the right gauge of metal is used: Light enough to handle and strong enough to not flex under load. Very easy to clean, inside and out. Handles are super comfortable and my hot-pads seem to grip these embossed handles very securely. More on build-quality: Rivets are full stainless steel. They are not stainless steel caps over aluminum rivets (which is a cheap and unreliable design, whenever used in competitor products). These Bakken Swiss rivets will never corrode. You will notice that when making the pots, the stainless steel rivets, being so much harder than aluminum, required a much greater force to stamp them into correct shape. That action caused a very slight 'dimple' in the pot walls (only noticeable to an engineer, like myself): Proof that the rivets are super strong. This only confirms my happiness with the excellent build quality. I highly recommend this pot brand to anyone who wants to buy and not have replace them later. ... show more

  • Works Ok
Size: 8 Quart
This pot comes beautifully packaged with a few fun, added value pamphlets and it works well with induction stovetops. It is not a heavy pot. With that said, be mindful of your cooking temperature. I test boiled water and it was fine. However, I made popcorn the old fashion way with oil and corn kernels. The pot burned easily at a Med/High setting before my corn stopped popping. I am so disappointed since so many reviews claimed that it was very resistant to scorching and I literally just received the pot. This may be a good pot for heating soups, hard boiled eggs, brewing tea, and other light duty meals. ... show more

  • THIS IS THE POT. Would DEFINITELY buy again.
Size: 16 quart
I ordered this pot after much research. I was specific in what I wanted, and what I wanted to spend. I am a former chef, being professionally trained and working in the industry for many years. I knew what I needed. I knew I had a busy cooking weekend and needed the right pot, This IS IT! I am super impressed with this 16 quart (yes, really 14 unless you fill it to the rim). I made 3 significant recipes to test this pot. Saturday morning I made tomato basil sauce from scratch (tomatoes from the garden). No problems at all with sticking, of course I hawked the sauce and stirred frequently. Saturday evening I made a lowcountry shrimp boil for 8 people. I over filled the pot but everything still cooked fine, and the seasonings and dregs that fell to the bottom of the pot did not scorch or burn. Sunday morning I made jalapeno peach jam, using the old school, French method of cooking the jam til 220*F. I did have one almost scorch spot but that was absolutely my negligence of not standing there stirring the pot during the final stages. But I caught it in time. All that being said-I love this pot. It is absolutely, without a doubt, going to become one of my favorite, much used pots. I would highly recommend this pot as it is worth the price. Worth every penny! I think is is very affordable for what it is. ... show more
